"Nice hotel just off the main avenue, but in a bit of a off the beaten path. There are a few sketchy people around but it's very convenient to independence square, Palacio Salvo and old Montevideo. The restaurant recommendations made by the hotel were excellent. I've stayed here before and one thing worth mentioning is the wide swing in pricing, as cheap as $60 per night and sometimes over $100..."

Negatives: - The rooms are a bit tired looking and both the bedrooms and en-suites need a refresh. However, the beds were very comfortable.
