The Vendange was a perfect choice for our stay in Carmel. Although it wasn’t walkable to downtown the location was convenient to highway one and it was an easy drive into the shopping area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and we had a nice balcony overlooking a pretty courtyard. Would definitely recommend

Nice, basic room. Location close to all areas. Only problem is that it is located on a very busy street and is noisy. They provide you with earplugs !

While the accommodation was fine; certainly for one night, there are no dining opportunities without driving somewhere and hoping on return you can get a parking space near our room.

The room was clean. There was a constant noise all night. Sounded like a motor . The room was small . We paid a certain price , by the end of the day , the price was significantly lower. I would stay here as a last resort . Try another property.

I have stayed at this motel over the years and it has really gone down on this stay. Rooms smelled really musky. No A/C was working. The staff was almost arrogant about my complaint of a party (until 3am) the night before in the unit above me. She said" well I am not sure where you come from, but in Carmel we don't get people like that". Well my dear...you actually do and I had to suffer for it. I don't think I will be back nor suggest it to my friends.

I would definitely recommend this place. Its quite, not far from town, clean and the staff was super friendly. Ours had a balcony to sit out in the evening. Lovely

The woman that checked us mumbled and had a heavy accent and it was like she was trying for us not to understand her. She was also extremely unfriendly. Just rude. I asked if there was a bathroom in the lobby and all she said was “use your room!” There are no screens on the sliding glass doors and no air conditioning. We asked about a breakfast and the rude woman just said “NO”! She also said we couldn’t park in the parking spot we were in for no reason at all. The room faced the highway and was super noisy. It is FAR from luxurious. Outdated lobby and bathrooms. It says “breakfast area on ground floor”. So go buy your breakfast and bring it to their ground floor apparently. Fire pits and chairs were set up but not turned on. Whole thing was a joke. Thank god we were only there for one night.

Nice clean rooms
Room was very nice, area was busy with traffic but room was very quiet. Long walk to downtown but less than five minutes by car. Wood stay here again.
