This is my absolute favorite place in Monterey . We have been coming here for over 15 years. The rooms are always clean, the restaurant (Schooners) is fantastic, and the staff is consistently wonderful. The décor is beautiful and timeless, and the ocean views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend it.

The beds were really comfortable, the room was quiet although a little difficult to find (large hotel), spa was great! Concierge was nowhere to be found and front desk could have given us a little more information about the hotel, its restaurants, the spa, etc. upon arrival, but we had a great visit.

The menu variety was terrible. The good was good but not much to choose from. The staff was very friendly. The room was kept very clean. Refrigerator was too small. The shower head was not adjustable to different spray patterns. WiFi was slow.
