This tucked-away-from-it all, beach-side condominium is steps from Del Monte Beach and Monterey Bay. The sounds of the ocean provide a soothing soundtrack to your stay in this 1-bedroom, 1-bath, 700-square-foot retreat. The ocean views and sounds make this a perfect solo retreat or a romantic getaway for couples. It also affords a comfortable spot to work, if you can resist the distraction of the views.
Please be aware that there are many stairs throughout this bluff-side property and from the parking area to the unit which is all one level once inside.
As you approach the covered porch, 2 classic Adirondacks summon you to sit and take in the sights, smells and sounds of the surf. Inside, the open floor plan and ample windows that look onto the ocean below lend a sense of spaciousness. Neutral colors and wood flooring let the surrounding beauty of nature speak for itself.
Living Space and Kitchen
The inviting open-concept living area features a glass table for dining, work or planning your excursions and a cozy corner lined with windows. A sofa looks on the candle-filled brick fireplace as well as a wall-mounted 36-inch HDTV and entertainment center with DVD player, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Well-equipped for extended stays!
A granite counter with a bar stool lines the pass-through opening to the kitchen that is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, 4-burner electric flat-top range, oven, dishwasher, microwave and Keurig single-cup coffee maker.
Bedroom and Bathroom
The bedroom has a king size bed, desk, HDTV and plenty of closet space. Views look over sweeping dunes and black out curtains provide for a restful night’s sleep while you’re lulled into slumber by the waves lapping against the shore.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower with glass surround, fold-down bench, and both rain- and wand- shower heads. Luxury linens, towels, robes and amenities are included to make your stay comfortable. Even beach towels are at the ready.
Your beach getaway is situated in a gated community with a host of amenities. Two swimming pools—one heated—are on grounds that also feature two jacuzzis, lounge furniture and tables. The fitness center is equipped with aerobic, weight and other exercise equipment. Men’s and women’s lounges with bathroom, shower and dry sauna are next to each pool area.
A community laundry facility is on the property that conveniently accepts cards instead of coins (guests pay per load).
