Very limited dining options. Don’t sleep in and miss breakfast or lunch. Mid afternoon and Nothing was available (main lobby bar lacked staff to serve food while other restaurants closed between standard meal time, and we couldn’t even order in room dining outside meal times. Tried. No staff responded after 30 minutes of trying). We ended up leaving the hotel and going into town

We enjoyed our stay - the building and grounds are amazing. Room was nice But a few negatives that affected our rating - the actual beds were not good in the room -pool temperature is much much too low, considering the high room rates. They need to address this, everyone looked miserable on the pools -they need a more casual restaurant supper offering on site are not great for kids

Enjoy beautiful and unique log cabin resort
Perfect resort for weekend getaways. All staffs are very friendly and in-room service dinning and brunch are in good quality . Our signature king room with river view is comfortable. Our dog likes the medium size dog cage which the hotel offers. Definitely will come back next time and recommend it to my friends .

I was quite disapointed at our stay at the Fairmont Montebello. We arrived and the front desk agent seemed bothered. We got our room and the toilet seat was broken as well as the curtain in the bathroom. There were no bathrobes in our room and whem we asked they were reluctant we never got them in the room in the end. The pool ran out of towels and they also ran out of parking for the guests because people were coming for the day to use the nike trails and they were not charging for parking . The result of this is paid guests had nowhere to park. When we went to checkout they told us there was a movie rental when we never even watched TV. Some kid show they wanted us to pay. We refused. Then we were chatged an additional 40$ a day for the resort fee...what is this resort fee? There were so many hidden taxes and fees that it made this not worth it. It was our anniversary and it was very disappointing our stay. I worked at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth so i know the Fairmont standards and this unfortunately not up to their standards.

Phenomenal location. I stayed for a week with family and enjoyed paddling on the river and swimming in the iconic indoor pool. Srrvice was amazing across the board. My only caution is that the restaurants in town and at the facility are overpriced.

liked the bike rentals and the overall setting with the chairs and the view on the river. Multiple dining options - don't have to leave the premise, we cancelled our dinner plans at Napoleon and enjoyed BBQ with great staff. Didn't like the fact that the bathroom in our room (321) wasn't working. it wasn't flushing at all. We found out at 11:00pm when we were about to go to bed - we chose to use the public bathrooms in the basement - we didn't want anyone to come up our room late at night of our wedding anniversary. used also the public bathrooms in the morning. This was very frustrating. We stayed only one night so our time in the room was limited, would have been so much better to have a working toilet. Also, I found the ventilation noisy enough to be awaken at night. Another irritant was the lady's sauna in the indoor pool area wasn't working.

This is our family’s favourite getaway spot. My 4 and 6 year old boys are always thrilled when we tell them we're heading to the Fairmont Montebello. The place is beautiful, cozy, and offers a wide range of activities both indoors and outdoors. We will be back soon!

Not worth the price and time
We had problems with AC in two different rooms, the first one didn't work properly and second room we move to had a problem with the AC as well which make it very noisy and had to change a valve. Zero acoustic insulation in between floors, you hear every step of the person above. Service at the restaurants: Nymark and Aux Chantignoles was sometimes rude or non existant. I understand all restaurants have staffing problems, so why keep two restaurant open in the evening?? food overpriced for nothing special. The people working at the Riverain during the day were much better at their work.
