Perhaps the most appealing feature of this lovely cottage is easy access via a short marked trail through meadow/pasture to the beautiful Molalla River. Great little cabin
This was a sweet little escape not super far away from town. The only thing that I would suggest is asking that if you're visiting in colder months you request the heat be turned on prior to check in. It was freezing and took a few hours to heat up. Otherwise it was a great little place and most likely will visit there again.

Cute but dated
This was a cute house, directions left out a step so it was a little difficult to find. There were a lot of items in disrepair, kitchen faucet, warped pans, pans with coating peeling, odd smell. It was very hot while we were there, we were aware before hand that there was no a/c, but very few of the windows had screens so we were unable to open windows to cool off. There was excellent wifi so it seemed unfortunate that the tv was an old box tv only capable of vhs and dvd. The bed was very hard and we had an ant invasion in the bathroom the night before we left. The area was nice, close to what we were there for. River is beautiful but difficult to get to the water.

Cozy Cottage near a river
This Cottage was the perfect getaway for my wife's birthday. It was secluded enough that while the main property isn't too far looking from the place, it's plenty far enough feeling. The river access was a little confusing, since it has you go away from the river first and kinda stops being marked when you enter a field behind the Cottage, but with nowhere to go except through the field it's hard to miss the river. There was a really friendly outdoor cat who paid us a couple visits, which was fun for us as we are cat people. The only hitch we ran into was a lack of spatulas in the kitchen, and one of the baking sheets doesn't fit in the oven. Otherwise our stay was perfect.

Quaint Property In Beautiful Rural Setting
Clean, spacious one bedroom cottage along the Molalla River. Quiet wooded setting - ideal for a couple. We loved the fireplace and the picturesque setting. We appreciated the reliable Wi-Fi and found all amenities that we needed were provided. Hope to return again next year!

Relaxation plus cute pets
This was the perfect place to get away and relax. The short walk the river plus the excellent swimming hole was fantastic. The two pups that live there are super cute and sweet. We loved the visits with the kitty the most because we always miss our kitties when we travel. The kitchen is good and has all you really need but it’s sparse. Bring everything you would want for cooking or be prepared to improvise. The grill was great. The bed was super comfy with soft sheets and pillows. We slept so well! We can’t wait to come back.

Peaceful, rural setting
Overall we had a very nice time. It was a get away from everyday life and being right next to the river was beautiful. The cottage was rustic but clean and covered most of the basics. Only downfall was the nearness of the owner. She seemed nice enough but a little too nosey for comfort. We wanted a place out of town to not really interact with people but she seemed overly concerned about us and our activities. Otherwise, it was awesome☺️

Gorgeous Riverfront Cottage
Want to get out of the city and soak up more time in nature? This is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Right by the Molalla river, we loved listening to the sounds of the water and the visits from the resident animals. Highly recommend!

Nice little cottage
The cottage was very clean and quiet, for the most part. I wish there was more to do but this staycation serves its purpose. Only thing negative, in my opinion, was the only bathroom is in the main bedroom.

Perfect tranquility
The overall experience was amazing. I would go back for sure. The place was clean. The WIFI was reliable. There was wood provided to use with the camp fire pit by the river. More towels than you can use which was so nice. Several light bulbs were burnt out which was inconvenient especially the one on the porch with the BBQ. There are plenty of numbers to contact for help or support but no cell service and the land line didn’t work because is seemed you needed a long distance card.

Quiet cottage for two
Perfect spot off the beaten path! Area that's private to the property is a three-minute walk to sit by the river. The kind owners live on the same property with their dogs and very friendly cat. The bedding and matress/foam pillows are extremely comfortable! Keep in mind there is no door on the bedroom and the tiny bathroom is in the bedroom. So this is really situated for couples and maybe one small child. The cookware & utensils in the kitchen are limited and could definitely use a refresh. The coffee pot worked well, though. We brought our own coffee, cream and sugar. In town, there's an excellent drive thru coffee/ice cream/breakfast sandwich place: Cowboy Coffee. We also liked White Horse for a great beer selection. The pizza from the dive bar, Sundowner, is homemade and fantastic! Also, a bakery in town: La Delicia with fresh donuts. We highly recommend the 30-minute beautiful drive to Mt. Angel, where there's a monastery and nearby indoor/outdoor tasting room. Lovely views and the monks grow the hops and brew the beer! There are wineries in the area, as well. We enjoyed our stay even with limited recreational opportunities due to the fires. Would love to come back to get the full experience!

Nice cottage in beautiful area. The grounds were lovely and everything cools off in the evening. Yes it does have internet access which wasn't clear on the listing. It would be great to have one of those inexpensive electric pancake grills in the kitchen. The only flat pan was a small square one for the stovetop that was warped.

Lovely little cottage by the river
This is our second stay at this location. We really enjoy it. Make sure you bring slippers and sweaters and coats in the winter. It’s freezing and the baseboard heating in poor. Bring anything you may need. It’s bare bones. They have a coffee maker but you need to bring 100% of everything you need other than water and a cup. They have a TV that only works with DVD’s and the selection is awful. Nothing for children or youth. You don’t really feel like anyone is going to break In at any point. You are over 15 minutes from anything. (I needed creamer and it was a 15 minute drive to the quicky mart). the door is in need or repair. It latches poorly. There is some need of repair at this location. We will come back again for sure. I just would really appreciate some updates to things that don’t work.

Great spot just an hour from portland and nestled in the forest next to the Molalla River. Lots of hiking in the area. We loved a day trip to Silverton as well to Hike the falls there. We LOVED having no WiFi. Quieting all of that lends to experience of the river sounds and true connection. ❤️

Peace and Tranquility
This property is far from town, but just what we were looking for; a peacfull retreat while driving into Keizer to see our family. We loved the sound of the river over morning coffee and the fact that it was about 50 yards away (short walk) was a plus. The owner lives next door but never was intrusive. We looked forward to the morning visits from the dog. All intructions were very clear in the home, including how to obtain Wi-Fi. Thank you for sharing this wonderful gem with the VRBO Community, Connie. We will be back. J & K
