Not worth the money
I was disappointed in the Double Tree hotel: specifically the bathroom. It was a large room without any usable shelves . There were 2 small skinny glass shelves attached to wall by sink. Top one was pulling away from wall so anything placed on it would slide off to the floor. The bottom shelf had the soap dish, leaving enough room for toothpaste and toothbrush (for one person, we booked for two adults.we booked 3 nights so needed a place for toiletries (shaving bag and women’s personal items.). The shower head was difficult to use as every time the handheld shower head was used your hair was soaked in trying to reattach it and it kept falling off and sprayed water all over including the floor. There was cracked tile and missing tile at bathtub. The lobby coffee was a charge and no coffee in the room. Not a pleasant experience. The bed was comfortable. The carpet was dirty. Not hotel we will book again, and give second thoughts about booking one in other cities.

Nicest hotel int he town of Modesto. It's great for holding event and venues. The rooms are comfortable, modern, clean and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. There are restaurants on premise. The main street of Modesto is right nest to the hotel very walkable.

Nice, easy stay with our pup. Friendly staff and updated facilities in the lobby. Our room said it was renovated but was old furniture and fixtures. We booked a top floor due to the complaints about the train, but it was still an issue, all night. Loud horns from freight train ran all night. Maybe requesting room that is further away but we were not facing the station and it was still very loud.
