Hotel itself was great. Friendly staff. The only downfall was the advertised shuttle. It didn’t say you had to call and book it for airport pickup. I found that out after sitting at the airport shuttle area for an hour trying to get ahold of somebody. Then when leaving to go back to the airport the shuttle driver was visibly upset when i knocked on his door Monday afternoon as he was parked at the front door and woke him up from his nap. He said I had to book his service at the front desk. Front desk said I had to wait 30min. I ended up just getting an uber.

Our trip was mainly to visit the Mall of America and this hotel was so close…brief walk to Black Friday Shopping saving at least $24. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a great breakfast. Thank you Tru for a great experience.

The staff was helpful the rooms were amazing. Great location to the mall of America and airport. The whirleyball center it is attached to was beautiful and fun. Highly recommend their pizza.

The hotel very nice. Staff friendly. We were told shuttle would pick us up after game if we called. When we called we were told driver was at ikea and wouldn’t pick us up at the mall. We were told to walk. So at 11:30 at night we walked back to Tru. We complained at check out and was compensated with the refund of our parking fee.

Just a pit stop
This was my first time staying in a Tru and it was worth the cost. The sheets, pillows and bed were very comfortable. We didnt wake up in time for the breakfast and were out of Minneapolis and on our way home to iowa beforen10am.
