The staff at the front desk upon arrival was not welcoming...didn't even say hi. They asked for my ID and Credit Card, then told me my room number. The room was ok but didn't realize they do not have a mini fridge or microwave...never thought to check that as most hotels have them. Then the pool was closed for maintance which I was never notified of. My son is Autistic and we make reservations based on if hotels have pools, needless to say he was extremely upset which made the trip difficult. The hotel staff rudely told me they posted the pool was down on their website about 3 weeks ago. I made my reservations over a month before our trip so I did not see that information plus I used hotels.com not their website to make my reservations. The hotel was not interested in how my family was feeling and would not offer a refund and/or allowing us to cancel and get a different hotel, they said the information was posted. I will never stay here again or recommend it as the staff was rude, not compassionate, or apologetic. Also while we were eating breakfast they abruptly started cleaning up the area at 9am to close it while people were still cooking/eating...they turned the lights off on my family as we were eating. Very rude staff.
