Near Yankee Springs Recreation Area, there are miles of hiking, biking trails and horseback riding. Visit Gunlake Casino for a fun night out. Enjoy story telling by a camp fire or stargazing on the deck.
Dont forget to swing by the state park to enjoy a nice picnic or relaxing evening. Whatever your preference there is something for everyone at the lake!

The cottage features a full kitchen and dining area, living room, 1 bedroom with queen size bed, 2 full beds in loft area, 1 full bathroom. Extra sleeping on sofa bed in the living room is available as well as an extra inflatable twin mattress.

The waterfront is sandy and shallow, perfect for the little ones; about 100ft of shallow water. The lake gets deeper soon after the dock and is a popular spot for fishing year round.

Guests can enjoy the lake with our kayaks, paddle boards, paddleboats, fishing rods, outdoor grill and using the bonfire pit right next to the lake.

We also have a boat dock that you can use during your stay. Please send me a message to confirm if boat lift will be available during your stay.

Is the fire pit also shared with the other rental?
NO. You will have a private firepit available. Be sure to bring your own firewood.

How many paddles boards, kayaks and paddles do you have? Also, are there life vests?
There are 2 kayaks, 2 paddle boards, each with their own paddles as well as 2 paddleboats. Plenty of live vests in storage bench. Please, keep in mind these are shared with the other property we have on Airbnb.

Is the grill propane?
Yes, it is. Please note that each guest is responsible for the use and cleaning of the bbq grill.

What are the check-out instructions?
The check out instructions will be sent to you the day before check out.

Can I use the waterfront area?
Yes! The waterfront area right next to the water is available for both LAKESIDE COTTATE & CASA LAKEVIEW. Please be respectful & considerate of our other guests and please share the watercraft; there should be plenty of water toys for use!


Do you have a boat lift and if so, can I use it?
We have 2 boatlifts, one is available for guest use the other is used for our pontoon (which you can also book separately- gas not included , just send me a message for details).

Can I use the unopened soda pop cans, snacks or condiments located in the fridge or pantry?
YES! This is our summer home and we are more than happy to share what we have brought with all of our guests. Please note that we run this on an honor system, meaning if you use please replace with a similar item. Also all perishable food items or drinks must be thrown away prior to departure. You may only leave food/drink items that are unopened or will not go bad.
