Great friendly hotel. Best beach in Miami Beach. Blue waters, nice rock area for snorkeling, full of different types of fish. Breakfast and diner, like all the riu hotels, fresh, tasty on Buffett style. Bartenders are very professional and drinks are well pour. Pool and rooms are clean and spacious. We loved the stay at The Riu Miami Beach

Corridors to the rooms were dirty and the room was dated. The service was generally good but unfortunately the hotel is in dire need of some investment. The pool area was also tired and could be made a lot better. Also unable to use cash at the property. Only card or charged to the room. Not greet if you want to keep tabs on expenditure.

The fact there is so much construction in the area was not a pleasant experience. Also the amount of traffic was inconvenient at times.
