A Sticky Situation: The Dirtiest Stay of Our Lives
The single most accurate word to describe this listing is sticky. You know that sticky sound ur feet make after walking on a floor where apple juice was previously spilled but not cleaned? That was the precise sound our feet made as we made our way around the house. Stick after every step. We opened the fridge and there was sticky yellow substance all over. The stove top had 1/4 of an inch dirt piled up. We decided to stay over the night as it was late and our kids were exhausted after a full travel day, however the linens were all stained, the only clean bed was the bed in master bedroom. We struggled to find a place to put our kids to sleep and ended up spreading a sheet, we hoped was clean on the little futon. Furthermore as we went into the bathroom we discovered what we used to call as children an ant wedding (a bunch of ants gathering to celebrate). There were two such weddings happening in the house, one in each bathroom. Our children had a hard time using the bathroom with an audience (the ants were apparently staring). We dared to think of taking a shower but the towels, which only a very few existed throughout the house, were damp as if used and then folded back up. Scuffing on the wall is normal, but in this place you would be hard pressed to find a 2 inch clean space on any of the walls. There was stick all over as if juice or other bodily fluids were splattered and uncleaned. These same fluids were spread all across the couch as well. We soon realized the tableto

This was a very nice and relaxing stay. The home was everything you see in the photos. I would refer this property to any of my family and friends. The property manager (host) was on point the entire time from are travels to when we landed and asking how and what we should do from check in to check out. I was asked if items or anything was needed the entire time of our stay. Thanks again!
