Worldcenter was my 5th stay in a CitizenM and the Miami location offered the best views (for an additional cost) I’ve experienced in a CitizenM. The views overlooking Biscayne Bay, Kaseya Center, Ferré Park, and some of Bayfront Park were the best part of my stay. Additionally, the rooftop amenities (pool and wrap-around deck with views) are nice surprises. There’s also a 2nd bar and dining/meeting area on the rooftop. Besides the views, the location’s proximity to mass transit and walkability to nearby attractions are huge pluses for travelers. Most CitizenM’s allow guests to order housecleaning or decline it on the in-room iPad. However, that was not an option during my stay. I did make guest services aware (as I had to request towels twice and paper products once) but the iPad issue was never addressed.

Location was nice but no parking and what was available was $45 per day so be prepared. The hotel was lovely inside but the bed was super uncomfortable. Extremely hard.

It was like pre-day of boarding your cruise ship. It’s a small room, but in a good area. I would suggest getting wash cloths. I’ve seen many comments on this. Beds are very hard. iPad to control TV, blackout shades and lights. A good place to stay for one night.

Checking in was very easy. There were staff on hand to help with the check in process. It’s electronic on iPads in the lobby. Hotel located in a great place for access to the cruise port. There was also a bar and restaurant next to the hotel although the hotel itself has a good bar. The rooftop pool & bar has a great view. There was enough sun loungers, sofas and chairs as well as towels available to use. I’d suggest asking for a room higher than floor 2 or 3. Our room had the metro mover line right outside the window so we didn’t really have a great view even though we looked over the Kaseya Center and the bay. Our bathroom door wouldn’t close properly either. We weren’t too bothered as it was myself and my partner but if I was sharing with a friend, I’d have complained. The room lights, blinds and TV etc are all controlled by the iPad in the room. It has various “moods” that you can choose too which was quite cool. Our iPad was a bit cracked and at times wasn’t as responsive as you’d expect but we were able to use it. We were only staying 1 night so the view, bathroom door and cracked iPad weren’t an issue for us. If we were to go back to Miami we’d stay here again especially if it’s for a cruise as we walked across the bridge rather than take a taxi.
