Worst Hampton Inn I've ever stayed in. Front desk staff (Tammy and Sina-not sure of the spelling) have a way of making guests feel uncomfortable and intimated. I would suggest diversity training for your front desk staff to learn how to treat paying consumers who fund their paychecks. Reaching out to their local management, including assistant general manager and general management is a waste of time. It took close to 6 days for anyone to contact me about the concerns I had regarding the harrasament and intimadation my family endured at their property. Once the corporate office was reached, I suddenly received a phone call from the assistant general manager. Although the Asst. GM offered some compensation for my troubles, the tone of her voice made me feel like my infractions were not that important to her, but because I reached out, she had to reconcile my complaint. This facility has many great employees that respect guests but unfortunately the actions of front desk and the non-sense of urgency from local upper management, clouds the employess that provide exceptional service to your guests. Shame on Hampton Inn-Beale St.

The property is central to all the dinning and entertainment options. Beale Street is a 2 minute walk and is so lively, the people are amazing and friendly. The property could use some upgrades but overall it is a excellent location, especially if going to an event at the FedexForum. This location is NOT for a quiet vacation lol. It is a entertainment district and everything is walking distance. The hotel has excellent breakfast options and even offer limited free snacks and water at the front desk.

We stayed here 4 nights to attend 3 Memphis Grizzlies games. I thought, while booking, it was 3-4 blocks away from the FedEx center but it was barely a block away; so we were so pleasantly surprised. Great location, good breakfasts, nice room and friendly staff.

A block away from Beale Street where all the bars & restaurants are. Also a block away from Fed Ex center for concerts & sporting events. Other sreets are scarce of people so the hotel is in an excellent location. Free breakfast gives you a good option of choices. Staff was not knowledgeable of city tours so you have to figure it out yourself. Uber is very reasonable and fast for the airport and tourist attractions. Room was large, beds were comfortable bathroom was adequate. No outside noise but my stay was Tues thru Thursday. Indoor pool and gym, neither was crowded. Other hotels you have to walk down isolated streets to get to Beale Street where all the action is & it becomes a bit scary.
