Terrible Experience
This was a terrible experience. I booked well in advance to stay in a safe property close to the zoo. I also needed a safe place for 2 dogs so we could all go to the zoo during the day. The property owner emailed us that the house was not available around 10 am the morning we were driving to Memphis (we had booked back in March). The drive for us to Memphis is an 8 hour drive. A couple hours from arriving at Memphis I checked my email expecting to find arrival details. At this point I found an email that had been sent by the property owner. They stated the stay was cancelled. No explanation was given. I never received a direct call. I attempted to reach the property owner to understand why the reservation was cancelled. There was no answer or voicemail. The email had stated "if you have any further questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us." Due to the cancel and not being able to reach the property owner we ended up staying in a hotel. We were very disappointed as we could not all go to the zoo (someone stayed in the car with the dogs) which was the main point of our trip. We also left Memphis earlier than we planned and headed for out next vacation spot. A vrbo representative was helpful and did find us a place to stay in Memphis (after 1.5 hours of phone time from poor reception and finding a suitable place that takes dogs). We still have not heard back from the property owner and have not received a refund.

Weekend getaway with my husband and dogs
My husband and I were looking for a weekend getaway that we could share with our 2 large dogs. This was the perfect place for us! Comfortable, cozy, and homey accommodations, with a large backyard for the pups to run around.

Great Stay
Overall, we had a great stay! Check in/out was super easy. The house was in tucked away on a street that calm & quiet but a close drive to everything in town. The only "con" was that the bathroom door didn't close all the way. This could maybe be fixed with a weight or something to hold it closed. I'd stay there again for sure!

Clean Property in a Safe Neighborhood, Big Backyard
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The kids loved the pool table. The dogs loved the back yard. The zoo and a museum are nearby. We would definitely stay there again.
