We like our room here at the Hotel Melby. Unfortunately we had a pretty horrible night as we were not able to sleep, the airhandler in the corner of the room is way too noisy!! Finally at 2 am we figured out how to turn it off and managed to get a few hours of sleep. Definitely not what we expected!! We appreciated the $50 brunch voucher after our sleepless night.
Our family met us at Hotel Melby, I am sorry to report that the brunch experience was horribly disappointing. The service was slow, the server finally brought our lattes on a tray, she had overfilled all cups and they had foot baths and the cups were all sticky, what a mess, not at all what you what expect from a fine dining establishment. As for my food the eggs were too salty, the chicken sausages cold and rubbery. My husband's latte, which he ordered to come with the food, arrived at the end of the meal in a to go cup, free of charge. We did order the usual complimentary glass of water with our meals and were charged $10 for a bottle of water.
As you can see this all was pretty awful and surely not what we expected.
