The staff was so nice. They helped us to find and return to us a necklace we had left in our room. Check in and out was easy and there were a few close food options available nearby. Will certainly stay there again when we are in McCook.

This wasn’t a bad experience, but it wasn’t a great experience either. There were multiple cats living in the lobby which wasn’t bothersome to us, but definitely doesn’t cry cleanliness. This isn’t an allergen-friendly property. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable. But the breakfast was sparse and our bathroom sink drained exceptionally slowly (guessing from hair or other debris in the pipe). We aren’t against staying here again, but I don’t know that I’d recommend this spot to anyone. I’d probably check around with other hotels before settling back at the horse creek.

The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. They did have three cats that roamed around and there was cat hair everywhere. There was one on the counter when we checked in that looked 20 years old eyes were oozing. I was not allergic to cats, thank goodness. the breakfast was good. Did see some ants on the counter, but I let the front desk know and she went and took care of it right away. We would stay here again

Solid place to spend the night in McCook
Property is beginning to age but is still a decent place to spend a night while passing through the area. Beds were comfortable. Room and bathroom were quite clean. We would stay again if the price is decent. We had some slow service to get a new room key when it stopped working and needed to be replaced with a different card. Nobody at the desk for a while.

There was a cat laying across the counter as I checked in, and the lobby smelled of cat. My obvious thought was that if they don't control keeping the cat off of counters and furniture, then does the cat crawl around on the counters and tables in the breakfast area. The breakfast was limited to a few options of carbs only. There was garbage, an empty 12 pack with empty beer cans sitting on the floor beside the entry way when we checked in and it was still there when we checked out the next day. Our room was cleaner than first impression of the rest of the motel.

Front desk was really friendly and helpful im not cat person is the only thing i didn't like but everything was ok was clean could be more detailed clean like mirrors stuff like that but I'm peaky person. Enough parking in general was good we come every year for work so definitely we will comeback.

Nice place to stay, however, the staff were less than helpful. Some of the staff sat on a bench outside the front door smoking cigarettes most of the time. Second hand smoke both coming and going through the door. In addition, when the television remote did not work and new batteries did not fix the issue, we were told that was all they could do.
