This peaceful and quiet country cabin is an easy 1-hour drive from Cincinnati, Lexington, or 2.5-hours to Louisville. The open spacious layout brings families together making unforgettable memories. The property hosts Chambers Stables, a third-generation family who runs a full-time horse farm. Enjoy the beautiful 200-acre estate with morning sunrises and evening sunsets. Wildlife is abundant so keep an eye out for deer, foxes, wild turkeys and native birds of all kinds, or an American Saddlebred show horse working outside in preparation for world class competition.

Unique property
Spent the holiday weekend in this charming bunkhouse located on a beautiful horse farm. The hosts were very kind and all around terrific people. We really enjoyed our time here and hope to visit again!

Loved our stay at the bunkhouse. It was nice to sit on the front porch in the mornings and hear the turkeys. The two new additions to the farm (great Pyrenees) were great greeters, and loved being loved on. If your looking for a place to disconnect this if your place.

Wonderful stay - great owners on site
We had a great time staying here. Will definitely go back. Pros: Cabin was perfect for us as a couple; well outfitted kitchen; comfortable beds and furniture; lacked nothing for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beauty of this isolated hill-side property is hard to overstate. The lake down the hill is beautiful and looks very fishy (it's not visible from the cabin). Beautiful location looking down the pasture to the horse stables. Met the owners - Barney, Bobbi Jo and Jack - who live right next door - very nice folks - we enjoyed spending time with them on their porch. Jack, their son, gave us a tour of the stables and how he trains the horses. Cons: no wi-fi (this is the only negative we can think of!) We had a magical stay here.

This was one of the nicest, cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. It was so much more than we even expected! Beautifully decorated, peaceful setting, amazing owners who were more than helpful. We had an amazing thanksgiving thanks to our stay at the Bunkhouse! The hosts were amazing to communicate with during the stay. It was so peaceful to watch the horses from the porch. Thank you for a wonderful get away!

Nice quiet place to relax
Pamela was great to work with. The bunkhouse was very cozy. The view of the mountains and horses in the morning was great to wake up to. Only draw back was the plastic on the mattress, every time we toss or turned it would wake me up. Would definitely recommend this place if your looking to get away from the crazy world.

Communication with property manager was excellent. Owners made sure we had plenty of wood during a major winter storm. Property was so peaceful and clean. They had even decorated for the holiday! Very cute and comfortable
