Welcome to our 100-year-old farmhouse nestled on a vast 32-acre property—a charming relic with a lot of personality! You can enjoy the peace and quiet of the country, starlit skies, privacy, and just 10 minutes to historic downtown Mason, TX! If you’re looking for an affordable escape, this is the place for you (and your dogs - they will LOVE the private, fenced yard!).

The farmhouse is a cozy 3-bed, 1-bath retreat with an updated bathroom, full kitchen, and a covered front porch perfect for sipping your morning coffee. You’ll sleep comfortably on one king and two queen-sized beds (couch pulls out into a queen size bed in the 3rd bedroom. Also, a couch in the living room). The charm is real—but so are the bugs. This house wasn’t exactly designed to keep the little critters out, and while we do spray regularly, don’t expect us to come running if you spot one. Consider it part of the rustic experience!
Now, full disclosure: we’ve got window A/C units, but if it’s over 85 degrees outside, you might want to rethink your stay—this old beauty wasn’t built with insulation in mind. In the winter, cozy up with plenty of wood for the wood burning stove and embrace the rustic vibe. Just know, this isn’t a luxury stay! So if bugs or quirky heating/cooling isn’t your thing, this might not be either.

You will have to the entire farmhouse and entire 32 acre farm. There are hiking trails throughout. Use caution on walks—this is Texas, after all! Walk at your own risk (cue dramatic music). And keep your dogs on a leash, because we’ve got some friendly locals here—by locals, we mean cows, donkeys, and a new baby calf. They’re friendly and love treats, but let’s remember, they’re animals, not oversized pets. Feel free to say ‘hi’ and offer a snack, just don’t expect them to follow you home!
