Very Good

Great location within the medina, and well-kept rooms with nice decor and amenities.
(The only issue was the very loud mosque next door - blasting on the tannoys at 0600 for half an hour without pause, but it was Friday)
The Good: The staff and service at Riad Maud are great. Our room had a mesmerizing bas relief ceiling and wonderful details. Breakfast was fresh and timely. Iloved the roofdeck and the views of the city and mosques.
The not so Good: Although there's a safe, the basic padlock for the door is a little too rustic. Our visit was in the winter so it was too cold to shower w/out heat. Definitely recommend you organize a transfer for arrival/dpture since the Riad is 5 min walk in narrow streets and requires a cart for a lot of luggage.

The room I thought I reserved was given to someone else and the room I was given was all the way at the top with tiny windows and the view was of towels hanging to dry by the staff. And the WiFi didn’t work at all in the room. Eventually I was moved to another room and the air conditioner was broken. I knew that when I moved to the room. The main issue with the room was that the bathroom was way too tiny I couldn’t move around comfortably in it. The breakfast and dinner was really good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I just wish the room situation had been better.
The hotel was in the heart of the Medina. Breakfast was provided for a surcharge but we preferred to walk to Starbucks and visit the newer part of town (2 miles). Room was comfortable and the AC worked well. The only thing was you can not drive to the location as the streets are narrow and filled with shops. You need to find a close parking location and have a porter with a wagon transport your luggage. We were a 5 minute walk to Jemaa el Fna. The neighborhood appeared safe, but we came back to the Riad by 1000. The city appears to stay alive well into the night.
Staff were really nice. However one of the staff should have called the police when 2 men followed us demanding money rather than ask us not to make a big deal and it's ok to pay them. Very clean. Safe. They could have offered us the fan heater as it got cold in the room we were in and the only reason I knew they had them is cause I found them while looking for something else in the common area.
Excellent stay. Very helpful staff. The rooftop dining area for breakfast is very nice. And the courtyard with the orange tree is really nice to sit in.

Hospitable staff & on the door step of the Medina
The staff were lovely, especially the owner and happily recommended things to do & places to visit. Unfortunately the taxi we pre booked from the airport failed to turn up so we ended up having to get one ourselves. The room we stayed in, the bathroom constantly smealt of sewage as if there was a block, the room was very dull and not much light due to the lampshade covering and no natural light. At times it was quite noisy but the riad was an excellent location from the square. Rooms are very small and narrow however overall not a bad stay.
Riad Maud is a fantastic deal if you want to stay in the heart of the medina. The price dictates what you get -- decently comfortable bed, lots of space and the necessary amenities. The only complaint is the riad is a little dusty -- but at 40 bucks a night, it sort of comes with the territory. Would recommend to the budget traveler!
Excellent Riad very centrally located. The staff is very kind and helpful. Great cost for the accommodation and location. Basic Moroccan breakfast is included and quite tasty. The staff helped coordinate tours and hammam visits. Def recommend this place.

Very central.
Very central and easy to get to from the square. About a three minute walk. A good breakfast served on the rooftop terrace. Lovely comfortable bed and hot shower.
e arrived late evening and left early the next morning, so there wasn't too much time to form a solid opinion, but here are the points of note from our short stay.
Pros:
It's in a good location, as it's less than a 5 minute walk from the main square with only a couple of turns. But it is hard to find at first because it is not very clearly marked.
It has a nice rooftop terrace, and the breakfast that they serve on the terrace is good and filling.
It has a good shower and hair blow dryer.
Cons:
We saw a few bugs in the room (moths and a small spider), but nothing major.
The staff were excellent in service and helpfullness and nothing was too much trouble.
The Riad is hard to find so make sure you get them to pick you up from airport or station
The staff could not have done more to help us, from breakfast each morning served by the delightful mustafa to Ishmal's friendly and informative plans and maps we had a personal, delightful! We found the square intense to be In for 7 nights but the Riad was an oasis of calm within the madness!
From the moment we booked until the day we left Riad Maud's staff went above and beyond to help, collecting us from the taxi to dropping us back, offering tips on where to go, Riad Maud is a must stay.
very nice hotel with uniquely decorated rooms. The staff could not have been more helpful. It's down a couple of side streets which some may find intimidating, especially females, but I found it to be perfectly safe. Lovely terrace and the rooms are air conditioned, which make a stay here very comfortable.

Riad Maud in Marrakech Morocco
Stayed for a week - the Riad was under part refurbishment which may not to be to every bodies taste but we were out everyday sightseeing or on organised tours and also eating out. Breakfast the same every day which we enjoyed but may not suit everybody.
The service from the staff at the hotel was faultless.
No TV in the rooms but a delightful lounge was available with a large TV.
This is the perfect little riad, just a 3-minute walk from Jemaa el Fna square (quite hard to find down a little lane, but quiet as a result). The owners are super-friendly and let us check in early/have breakfast when we arrived at 8am. They also helped us plan an overnight trip to the Sahara and let us keep our bags at the hotel while we were gone.
The room was simple but lovely, comfortable, spotless, nice bathroom with a piping hot shower. Breakfast on the rooftop (yogurts, omelette etc – the works).
Would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Adventure in Marrakech!
Riad Maud is in a great location three minutes walk from the square. Warm welcome from all the staff, excellent breakfast, hot shower and a comfy bed. The day trip to Ourika valley was spectacular and a visit to the Majorelle Gardens are a must, as is eating out in the square at night and an adventure in to the souks. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. All in all an excellent holiday in Marrakech.
Riad Maud is 5 minutes walk from the main square. The rooms and terrace are beautiful and the staff couldn't of been more helpful.
Thoroughly recommended.
The hotel is a located quite well in a busy plaza. I would definitely recommend getting the transfer as it's a bit hard to find on your own on arrival. the staff are super friendly - they came and picked us up from a cafe when we were lost!
The room is really clean and good facilities. The cooked breakfast in the morning was a lovely surprise. Would go back again for my next visit.
