Susan's property was a wonderful homebase for our first trip to the UP. We enjoyed the beautiful decor and layout of the home. Loved our time in Marquette!
I cannot say enough good things about this property. It is even better than it looked in the photos! The house is completely charming, clean, well-stocked with everything you need. And the VIEW! We loved being able to see the lake out the giant windows. The house does sit near a busy road, but we loved the fact that we got such gorgeous views while still being right near downtown. We walked to restaurants, stores and coffee shops, and thought the area was lovely. We stayed with two of our teenage children and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Especially enjoyed having access to the washer and dryer since we had been traveling for a week prior to arrival and needed to do some laundry. Susan left us some delicious pastries upon arrival, which were much appreciated. Very, very happy with our choice to book her place!

College Visit
We were headed to Marquette for a college visit with our niece. Found this home by chance and was so happy with it. The house is beautifully decorated and located near everything. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of 3. The kitchen is all set up for someone who likes to cook and there’s even an outdoor grill. We will definitely look to stay here again next time we’re headed to Marquette.

Perfect couples weekend.
I can’t say enough positives about our stay. We originally came up north to watch the dog sled race and spend some time with our daughter who lives in Marquette. The race was cancelled but The Blue Harbor View Bungalow made up for our disappointment in missing the race. Walking distance to local shops, breweries, coffee shops and other great retail. Just minutes away from Marquette Mountain for skiing, endless trails for hiking, snowshoeing , mountain biking, or XC skiing. This house is perfect. We just arrived back in Grand Rapids and we’re already talking about our next visit and stay at this exceptional rental.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property and the host. The home is warm and inviting, it is immaculate and leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to amenities. Susan has done the most amazing job honoring the history or this home and sharing that with the guests. Subtle nods to the local area can also be seen throughout the home. Blue Harbor View has a ‘high end’ feel without creating that sense of ‘don’t touch anything. Our family felt truly invited to settle right in. This will be my preferred accommodation anytime I find myself in the beautiful Marquette area. Thank you Susan!!

Amazing Stay
The property is very well decorated with every amenity and convenience. Very thoughtful remodel. A short ten minute walk to town and great restaurants with sidewalks the whole way. The view is awesome and the property is surrounded by mature trees that offer privacy. Any time we are in Marquette we’ll be looking up this place again. Thanks for a great time.

Good energy
We loved this cute, comfortable and updated 1880 bungalow which is easy walking distance to downtown and the lake. The "spa like shower and tub" is beautiful and my wife joked that she wants to hire Susan for decorating advice. While Chicago was "real feel" of 115-degree F during August heatwave, Marquette was comfortable 65-degree F each day. I'd recommend and would like to return.

The pictures posted in the listing do an excellent job of capturing the look and feel of this super cute home. The layout of the house is great with the windows providing a nice view of the lake. The home is within a short walk to downtown and an easy ride to access the bike trails. Susan the property manager does a great job communicating via emial! We had a wonderful stay!
