We were only able to stay for one night at La Kruger before heading back to JNB to catch our flight home. We booked it because we needed a decent WIFI connection to do our COVID testing and am so glad we did. What a nice way to end a two week stay in Kruger. Even though we only stayed of one night; the managers Jacques and Marshelle treated us like royalty. The chalet was wonderful and the dinner superb. A nice bonus was seeing the resident lesser bush babies come out just after sunset. If you want to visit the southern part of Kruger and want accommodations that are quite a bit more upscale than the in park offerings at a ver reasonable price then La Kruger might the a good choice for you. It's very close to Crocodile Bridge Gate and being located in Marloth Park has plenty to see and do right near the propery itself with lovely chalets, great service and a welcoming staff.

Overall great room & convenient Kruger safaris
Staff were excellent and made our stay enjoyable. The lodge has large rooms and the outdoor shower was a real treat. The restaurant food was also a good standard.

It's a small lodge, but a wonderful one with personal attention paid to every detail. The staff is very friendly and personable, the accommodations are beautiful, the food is excellent, etc. I loved, for example, that the room had both an indoor and an outdoor shower!

No power during load shedding
There are no emergency generators to power air-conditioners during power outages, which leads to a uncomfortable heat in the rooms. Apart from this the lodge is fabulous and the staff very friendly and accommodating.

Courteous and friendly staff that pampers you as their guest. The accommodations are modern and in a lovely setting in Marloth park. The location is conducive to hiking along the crocodile river (adjacent to Kruger national park) ; and the crocodile gate entrance to Kruger national park. (20 minute drive) Our personalized safari experience was wonderful at this intimate , exceptional lodge!

More than you will ever expect!
Wonderful people, great food, great clean rooms...it has everything. Just to give you an idea of how thoughtful they are: they even give you vanilla scented bug repellent lotion in your bathroom toiletries.This hotel will make your trip memorable, and enjoyable. We did the full day kruger park tour and they have a wonderful tour operator they utilize. I wish I could have stayed another week!

Excellent stay
I had booked 6 rooms for my group. It was a lovely stay and our people were very pleased. The staff was excellent whether at the front desk (NIck or Sandra) or in the dining room. I hope to bring a group back again in the future.

Die Lodge liegt ca. 20 Minuten vom Kruger Park entfernt. Die Lodge ist sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann in der Lodge Abendessen , als Menü. Das Essen war liebevoll zubereitet und sehr lecker. Ein sehr schöner Abend.

Die Unterkunft an sich ist sehr schön. Leider gibt es hier regelmäßige Stromausfälle sodass wir von abends bis zum nächsten Morgen auch kein WiFi hatten was sehr ärgerlich war, da wir unsere Reise weiter planen wollten. Relativ nah am Crocodile Gate, sodass man hier nicht ewig fahren muss.
