We spent one night at the 5th Street Inn in Mariposa. The inn is a renovated historic home from all appearances. The bed was comfortable but the table was tiny and the chairs in the room were very hard. Avoid this property if you can't tolerate that or navigate steps up and down.
The shower was functional but showed signs of damage to the faucet handle and a bit of mold. There is very little counter space in the bathroom, but a decent amount of storage in the drawers and cupboards.
The staff was helpful, and checkin/checkout were convenient. Overall, the place was decent.
Upon arrival found food in the fridge and coffee still in the coffee pot.
Was charged for "staining" clearly washable towels that was used to clean said coffee pot and area around it.
The staff I physically interacted with were awesome!
Lovely quaint Inn. So convenient for going to the Grove House for a concert. Easy walk to old downtown, shops, and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Small hotel in the old part of Mariposa. Rooms simple but clean and comfortable. Parking requires travel on steep side streets which can be tricky depending on your vehicle set up. Easy walk to all restaurants and shops.
Room was clean and check-in was easy. Bed was not very comfortable. Vehicles arriving late shine headlights directly in room and very close to windows. Should have linen service if staying multiple days.

Cute little property in central Mariposa. Looks like an old building that was converted another purpose. There is no pool or breakfast. If you arrive after 9 pm you need to call them to check in. Wi fi works well and the rooms are clean but basic. They have a fridge and microwave and coffee maker.

Overpriced for the small room with no breakfast. There was no closet and inadequate space to put your things.

Examine your room thoroughly
The room was very average. The only negative was we discovered the sofa sleeper had the same sheets from the previous tenant, but the hotel was apologetic and changed the sheets immediately. The room was also a little high in price for what we got, but it was Labor Day weekend.
Emma was very nice and helpful. Outstanding customer service!

After a long day and dead phone no one is at hotel. They emailed and messaged but I couldn’t get to. Owner was nice and helpful when I called. Long long day. No light on porch so hard to enter code.
It was a nice little inn tucked away in Mariposa.. staff was incredibly accommodating.. we enjoyed our stay during our yosemite visit which was only an hour away.. they do like you to check in earlier than most but are willing to work with those of us who cant seem to schedule driving times right... thanks for a wonderfully stay..
Mariposa is a sweet, little town and the 5th Street Inn is a sweet, little place. Our room was large and comfortable and - importantly - QUIET. Service was friendly and welcoming and we certainly feel that we will be back. There are other choices in Mariposa but I doubt any of them are better.
A quick little get away and this was perfect for our needs! In the middle of town, walking distance to all our needs. Loved the bear touch in the bathroom!!
