Beautiful home, stocked with everything. Could use a deep clean since the living room carpet had multiple spills. Also the decorations and chandeliers have a thick layer of dust. Allison was very responsive, helpful and friendly.

Outstanding getaway weekend....
Great, relaxing weekend. Check-in went without a hitch. The cabin was exactly as advertised. Beautiful, clean, and we very well stocked. We rented a boat from Wiener Rentals, and they were great, too. Highly recommend, we will return.

The entire family enjoyed the property on the lake. The was plenty of room for all to be comfortable. The view of the lake from the house and deck was wonderful. The steps down to the dock could be a challenge for some. We all had a great time!

We enjoyed our time. When we arrived there were sone areas that needed cleaning. The cleaning crew arrived immediately and took cate of everything. Communication with Southern Illinois Vacation Rentals was excellent.

Fun beautiful getaway
We enjoyed staying here. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the views were beautiful. I liked that we didn't have a lot of tasks to complete when checking out, just a few. We had an issue with the AC unit, and Allison worked to get it resolved very quickly. I will say that it could use a good cleaning. We found that a lot of things were sticky, and we couldn't use anything outside because it was covered in spiderwebs. Overall, we enjoyed our trip and would consider staying here again.

Great family Thanksgiving
All as advertised. 3 families and 12 guests from age 8 to 75. Very nice property with wonderful lake view. Short drive to Marion for supplies and entertainment. From morning coffee on the deck to evening marshmallow roast by the fire pit we had a wonderful stay.

Five couples stayed here for a week. We had a great time. The place could use a good through clean. It also could use a handbook to tell us where and how to use different controls for the TV and fan. Had to search the house for them. Otherwise had plenty of room for us all.

Overall a good trip. Outdoor amenities could use some updates.
The house was very nice. Overall we enjoyed our trip very much and it was a good experience. The interior of the house was clean and very nice. The outside amenities could use some work. The deck is dated and some of the railings on the upper deck are loose and we're unsafe to lean against. The fire pit area is missing some stones and could use some repairs. The pellet grill was clogged with pellets and would not work. Overall we enjoyed our time here. However for the price we paid we expected a little nicer outdoor amenities.

Nice lake property!
The house was perfect for our family group of 12. Bedding was comfortable and kitchen was well equipped for our nightly family meals. The dock, lake access and swim mat were used daily and were of great enjoyment for our family! We rented a boat and had a slip to put it in overnight, which was awesome. Communication with the owner when I had questions was great. I would definitely recommend this property!!!

SIVR is setting a new standard for rentals
House had everything we needed and more. Allison answered any questions promptly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Loved the covered dock and a place for my boat. Kids fished off the dock even in the rain and caught a lot of fish. We had a great night around the fire pit drinking and eating s’mores. Also had a great time playing poker in the lower level. Would highly recommend to everyone! Looking forward to our next family vacation with SIVR.

Perfect for Large Family!
It was the perfect setting for our family of 10 adults, 2 kids and 2 infants. The amenities were fantastic - very well stocked kitchen, the bath towels were luxurious, the wood-burning fireplace was a big hit and the sun streaming into the family room in the mornings was stunning. Great view looking out over the lake and easy access to many hiking trails, state parks and wineries. We would definitely stay in the house again. The property manager was very responsive.
