Had a problem with the room I booked and they promptly moved us to a different room. This room was very clean and beautifully updated. The restaurant was also updated and very good food. Location is remote but quiet and safe. Pets were welcome and lots of room around the facility to walk them. A good stay (but book a renovated room).
Unfortunately they have renovated the dining and check-in area, but the rooms were very run down, with extremely noisy air conditioners that required ear plugs to sleep, bathroom fixtures that were broken, and water from the tap that smelled terrible and like heavy sulphur, with no way to open a window or sliding glass door to vent the smell as the sliding door was so corroded it wouldn't move in it's track. Prices are up, but room quality is worse than before. Food was good in the restaurant however.
Recently renovated. Modern furishings. Only one restaurant in area, but the food was delicious.
Just need to keep the dust and dirt down or replaced by landscaping.
The place has been updated since i last stayed here, 9 years ago. It's a nice place. The restaurant is limited, but decent. The surrounding view s are really nice.
Inwas scared as my husband booked and I couldnt tell if it had wifi or air conditioning. It had both. Some of the reviews were horrible. I want to say the entire place was immaculate. The view from my room was breathtaking. Everything was updated. I wish i could have stayed longer.
This amazing hotel is on the edge of the Colorado river, a three minute walk from the Lee Ferry pedestrian bridge in the singularly most stunning location I’ve ever spent the night. Excellent recent renovations to the whole facility including tastefully modern rooms and an inviting and surprisingly robust on-site restaurant and gift shop. This is a stellar, magical place.
The facilities are comfortable, clean and quiet; provide for most needs. The staff are very helpful and are quite proud of their hotel and how the plans are coming to fruition. The food was good with several options.
Just one suggestions: chairs outside the rooms to sit out and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. Love the picnic tables outside the restaurant.
Front desk was not friendly. We were sent to a room that was not remodeled and absolutely disgusting. The carpet was stained and literally shredding everywhere. It was dark, old and horrific. I asked front desk to change rooms. He didn’t say sorry, not even one word. Why would he give me a crusty room when there were several other newly remodeled rooms available? Super odd. The new rooms were awesome. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was meh. Nothing great. Will eat at cliff dwellers. Much better food and service.
No one in their right mind would rank this hotel very high. We must’ve gotten a room in the older section because it Is not worthy of anything above a 2 star rating.
It starts with the darkness. The place is very poorly lit. We parked our car and walked down the hallway and it had a creepy vibe to it. It looks like something out of a horror movie. It would not have surprised me to have woken up next to a dead body.
The TV didn’t work and when we called the front desk, no one responded. Twice.
One of the beds had a slant in it so that by the early morning hours, my back was out of joint. I thought that perhaps the only way to get it back in alignment was to get T-boned in a car wreck on my way home.
The other bed had lumps in it like a roller coaster and bounced like a trampoline. Not the best situation for a good nights sleep.
The place was old and dated with cracks in the drywall, dirt in the corners and rips in the rug, which gave it that old & dated character.
The only thing it had going for it was its location near Lees Ferry.

A beautiful spot to stay near the Colorado River.
Food is good and gift shop is cute. Rooms are clean and bed comfy. Just a small hotel and modest accommodations but close for fishing and preparing for a riverctrip
