Very pleasant stay!
The appartement is in great shape, only a few minutes from the beach, and in a safe neighborhood. The host is very friendly, accommodating, and always quick to respond. We had a great stay and we’ll definitely book it again!

Beautiful Property
We had a fantastic week in the property. The whole experience from start to finish was first class. We arrived after office hours and our keys awaited us as promised in the key box. Getting in to the apartment was very easy. We really appreciated the lift with our luggage and shopping. Having a dedicated parking space in the garage too was a massive bonus. The apartment was exactly as described and just like the photos. We all thought the main living room seemed even bigger than the photos made it look! The apartment was very clean and beds very comfortable. The terrace was a great size too. The property is up a hill. We were aware of this and it didn’t worry us at all. We happily walked down the hill to the marina and caught taxis back up with change from €10. We hope to be back again and definitely would recommend the property. Thank you for a great stay.

Very nice apartment, it has everything you need. The terrace is large and sunny from early morning. The environment is very nice. The pool is fantastic. Communication with Estate Duquesa went very well. I spent a wonderful vacation with my wife and children. Thank you very much for the wonderful time spent. I recommend it, we will definitely come back there.

Really lovely holiday apartment
We had a really great stay - the apartment was as described and well appointed. The pool was lovely and short walk from our apartment. The gardens are gorgeous and well kept. Check in was easy - even though we arrived very late we got our keys and were on our way without issue. We had a car so the location was great for us. Not sure how it would be if you didn’t have a car. Parking was convenient and having a lift near the assigned space was handy for bringing in luggage and groceries. Communication with our host was quick and helpful and we had all we needed for a great 2 weeks of sun and relaxation! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Hillside apartment
The apartment has a spacious balcony that faces east so you can see the sea and you get the sun in the morning for breakfast. Both bedrooms and bathrooms are good. The 5G WiFi is very fast with both upload and download speeds over 290Mbps great if you have a subscription TV service because there is no English language TV and WiFi is essential in this area as data, particularly by Movistar, is virtually nonexistent. There are five swimming pools on the gated development and it is all very well looked after. The apartment is about 95m above sea level so nice views from the general area and it is about 1.2k downhill to the nearest bar on the urbanization, and a steep climb back. It is about 2.1k to the port of Duquesa (where English is widely spoken is about 25 minutes walk), here there are many bars and restaurants that cater for most tastes, also Arkwright's Stores, which is open 08:30 to 22:00 and 365 days, is brilliant for odd bits of shopping. If you wanted more local food then the area of Castillo de Duquesa is a short walk south of the port, wherever you eat it is worth asking to see the 'menu del dia'. We enjoyed our two month's stay, the apartment was good value, and communication with the owner is excellent. The agents, who can be found in Castillo de Duquesa, are also helpful. We felt the apartment is little remote and because of the distances involved unless you enjoy walking, a car is essential.

Enjoyed Spain and living at Fabien's
Highly recommend! My husband and I enjoyed living here for 3 full months, Dec - Feb. The condo is very clean, modern, and nicer than the photos show. WiFi was great too. Underground parking kept our rented car out of the weather. The kitchen is well equipped with good lighting. Fabian and property management were very responsive. Probably going to want a car (or uber, taxi) to get around. Eroski grocery nearby stocks European and British goods. The condo has nice closet/wardrobe areas in each bedroom with built-in drawers and plenty of hanging space. Much appreciated during our extended stay. Even though it was low season and quiet, many restaurants were open even in the La Duquesa marina area. The large patio would be useful during warmer months. Easy check-in & check out. We definitely enjoyed our stay at Fabien’s and would have stayed longer had our tourist visa not been expiring. Thank you Fabien, we loved living in Spain!

Mooi appartement in een prachtige omgeving
We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in het appartement. Het appartement is heel compleet en mooi ingericht. De bedden liggen prima en er is een goede wifi. Er zijn meerdere zwembaden waar je gebruik van kan maken. Verder is het heel groen en rustig. Ook de omgeving is prachtig. Vlakbij strand en zee, maar je rijdt ook zo de bergen in. Veel te doen in de omgeving, maar je hebt wel een auto nodig. Echt een aanrader!

Stayed as a family of 5. Spacious, well equipped kitchen with washing machine. Large balcony, but unfortunately not much sun due to proximity of properties opposite. Lovely swimming pools within a few minutes walk. Never too busy, despite staying in August. Slightly disappointed with location. View from balcony was of a building crane. Drove up a long, steep hill to get to the property, past several apartment blocks which looked empty. Having said that, it was peaceful, and over development was obvious throughout the area. Lovely, friendly neighbours who live there. Half an hour to walk to the marina where there was a huge choice of restaurants and nearby beach. Would recommend a car to visit Gibraltar and neighbouring beaches.

This apartment is just as it looks; in fact the photos don’t do it justice, I don’t think. We only stayed 2 nights at the end of our holiday in Spain but wished we had booked longer. It is immaculately clean, modern with everything you need in the kitchen. The fridge, dishwasher and oven are all new. The beds are very comfortable indeed. Plenty of wardrobe space. Two things to note are that the aircon goes on manually for 2 hours. But this is perfect as the apartment is already pretty cool if you keep the sliding doors closed. It would be too cold with aircon on all the time; and we were there in July and it reached 38/40 degrees which was the hottest day of the summer. It was a fantastic retreat to come back to. Also the marina and beach are a drive or taxi ride away. Only 8 euros for a taxi. They are there ready and waiting down at the marina. You can park in the Duquesa Estate car park no problem which is only a very short walk to the beach. The staff at Duquesa Estate office all speak English as do most Spaniards in this area. Thank you very much to the owner. We hope to return before you retire!

A lovely clean apartment
We stayed a month at this apartment, we arrived early evening after collecting the keys from Duquesa estates office and easily found the apartment and its designated parking place, from the garage there is a lift to the ground floor. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen fully equipped for our needs. The beds were comfortable and bedding good quality. The terrace has a partial sea view and at this time of the year only gets the morning sun until 10am so it can feel a bit cool inside, the heating system works well and soon warms the apartment if needed. We enjoyed walking down to the picturesque Duquesa Port and the various restaurants and beaches, there is a Mercadona and Lidl a short drive away. We recommend going to Rafaels a Spanish restaurant in Manilva. We totally enjoyed our stay and will return again.

A Lovely Holiday Apartment with Good Views
Located in hilly area of Duquesa Village, this apartment is tailor made for a family holidaying in the beautiful Andalucia region of southern Spain. The 2-bedroom apartment with en-suite facilities is well equipped with all the modern amenities, and have access to a number of swimming pools. We spent 28 days in February enjoying many days of sunshine and relaxing by the marina which is about 2 km walk from the apartment. There is a sizeable British expatriate community in the area and there are many bars and restaurants to sample different types of cuisine. The theme was relaxation but it was worth the visits to nearby Estopona and Gibraltar. We did not have a car so we walked down to the marina everyday and hired a taxi to return to the apartment in the evening (cost 7 euros per day from marina). A family of 4 holidaying at this apartment is well advised to hire a car locally as the Duquesa Village is sited on top of a steep hill. There are no English channels on TV and my advice is to bring a laptop for downloading/or streaming films or to check the news back at home. For those who want to travel to and from Malaga airport, I recommend the local taxi firm Happy Transfers (Tel: 659451630) which charges 90 euros each way to transport a family. The owner of the apartment, Mr. Gaillard, has dealt with some issues, that have cropped up during our stay, efficiently and promptly. The next door neighbours Bill and Carol, who live permanently in the village, were welcoming and friendly. This is an apartment I can recommend as it was good value for money and made a very comfortable stay.

Fantastic throughout!
The property was exactly what we were looking for, modern appliances and FAST WiFi. Apartment was clean and comfortable throughout! The only thing I would add to the property was a cafetiere as the pods for the coffee machine were not sold at the local supermarket.. but don’t take that away from the fantastic week we had and look forward to returning. The owner was fast with returning messages and answering any questions we had. Thank you again!

very modern contemporary sizeable accommodation. all facilities a family could want. hilly location. choice of 5 large pool very clean. it states as a ground floor apartment which is true at the rear but the front has a low balcony above the garage block and due to being on a hill has a drop to the gardens below therefore would be a concern for a very young family. safe and secure clean site. air conditioning only runs for 2 hrs at a time and needs to be reset which can be inconvenient during the night and not that efficient at cooling. overall a very nice apartment in a good location

Fantastic family apartment highly recommended
We had a fabulous stay here with our 3 year old son. The living space was perfect, modern and fresh with everything we needed including a coffe machine and much needed air con- unlike in England! The bedrooms and bathrooms were both contemporary and a good size. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. The outdoor space was ideal too. Lovely big table for breakfast on the balcony. We used the pool everyday which was just a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The complex had its own boom gate with a security guy which made us feel extremely safe, not that we needed too as the whole area was very family friendly and welcoming. The underground garage was also a huge plus. The local village has a shop and a few bars which probably are just about walk-able, but not with a 3 year old on your shoulders! Nice to walk to for couples! The port itself is a short drive and again lovely family atmosphere with bars and restaurants. The closest beach is also here. The key collection and directions were very simple too. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great stay.

The Flat was exactly what we were looking for. The cleanliness, the space, the security.
We really enjoyed our stay. This is our first time in Costa Del Sol. The flat is well situated, easy reach of La Duquesa port and Restaurants and Estepona , Puerto Banus and Marbella. Visiting a Restaurant called Venta Garcia is a must. It is situated off the Casares Roundabout going towards the mountain. It is about 1 mile on the left. The menu Del Dia during the week is 13.50 Euros. It is delicious and perfect. The owner Juan Jesus is very welcoming. Thank you Home away and specially The owner for giving us a wonderful Holiday.

Very enjoyable stay
