The room wasnt bad. It was an old room and quite cool looking but poorly maintained. The ad says kitchen but its a sink with a broken faucet and nothing to cook with. No burners or even portable cooktop. No pots or pans. Why advertise a kitchen at all? It had a kitchenette at best. The shower head sprayed everywhere and the shower curtain was about 10 inches too short. The best part about this place was the old architecture in the building. It looked very cool and original but very poorly maintained.

The staff are accommodating, I don’t recommend their printing service in the Front desk because it’s quite overpriced and the print’s quality is bad. Overall, my stay is good and the staff of the hotel are great!

Diamond in the rough (?), but not really rough.
Great location, across the street from US Embassy. Walking distance in a safe area to many amenities. It is an older building, but with great character. Our room was updated, but still felt like an early 1900s crown molding and wooden chair molding. The Internet was almost nonexistent, but my cell service was still strong. The staff were friendly, helpful, and inviting.

Location to where we are going, US Embassy is walkable (about a block from the Main Entrance of the Interview). The closest, most affordable and convenient hotel. Staff are very friendly. Our hotel room is okay. However, internet is very, very slow and the AC is not working properly. So warm inside the room. We asked the Front Desk for any other better-conditioned room but none available.

Miramar - A hidden gem
For a 1930's Deco-modern hotel, it really is still in good shape. The architecture is cool. Nicely decorated. The hotel is 1 block from Rizal park, short carriage ride to Intramuros, and 1 block to the US embassy. Great price for such a prime location. The staff were fantastic. The hotel restaurant was good. The room was clean. The negatives: I did not receive housekeeping. I also didn't call and ask... so just as much my fault. The other negative... cab drivers were not familiar with the hotel. I had to give exact address so they could map it in order to get there. It cost a little more in cab fare since we took a couple of loops around looking for it. Overall, I was very pleased. I would stay here again.

The room was clean. There is no wifi access in the rooms. There is a restaurant but the breakfast is not included in stay as advertised. TV was not working on arrival. AC worked very good. Staff was forcibly polite but not friendly or eagerly helpful.
