Nice retreat away from the center but still close enough to walk to the center. Very homely. I was comfortable and felt like I was with family. Friendly and inviting staff.

This was a wonderful place. I kept booking additional stays until they were sold out. Loved the pool and staff were friendly. Great place for Spanish immersion! I did book at a different place to sleep the last two night but that was because of a surprise fumigation. That’s apparently mandate by the authorities. The situation allowed me to escape Granada to discover the natural Laguna de Apoyo. A pristine natural lake in a nature reserve. Loved having two places and came back to take hot showers at La Pasada Del Sol. Did not need the pool since the Laguna is heated by volcano vents providing the lake a mineral content that apparently has healing properties. Walking up at the Laguna Beach Club was magical seeing the sun rise reflecting on the water as it rose. It was nice to leave when the Club opened and the loud crowds came in. I will try to return to both with dual bookings, that worked out quite well.

"La Posada del Sol" translates to "The Inn of the Sun" in english and "L'auberge du soleil" in french. I would say it earns its name in spirit and vibe. Paix, Pax and Peace!

En Nicaragua, es fundamental tener conocimientos básicos de español y respetar la cultura. Para mí, esto fue una inmersión total en el español. Esta propiedad se adaptó perfectamente a mis necesidades, aunque una cocina más autosuficiente habría sido genial. Evito los restaurantes y gasto mi dinero en ingredientes de calidad para cocinar comidas saludables. Volvería a reservar, pero se están agotando, pero pienso volver.

The hotel was poorly maintained. Very dusty lobby area. The pool had green mold. We were traveling with an 82 year old person, she struggled to get up the stairs because they were steep. We had sent the property an email asking for rooms in the lower level but property never replied to our request. Property refused to issue a refund. Pictures that appear on website are old, property was obviously staged for that. Stay away

Never disappoints. The rooms are big with a lot of space. The AC works great. Has a great pool right in middle and an amazing restaurant right next door. Staff were very friendly and helpful!
