"Outstanding experience, indoor pool/hot tub was nice- pool in need of some cosmetic repair; but very clean and working well. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Phenomenal continental breakfast that was well stocked. Room was clean and large for the decent price. Great scenery behind hotel looking to the mountains. They have a playground outdoors for the kids (although it was snowing so I couldn't use it, looked in nice shape). Game room and gym looked great. 5 mins away from downtown Lancaster where you can do some shopping and there are some solid restaurants. We were up from MA to go to Santas Village, which was about 3 mins away. Storyland is close too- so lots of kids/families staying. Overall very happy we chose this hotel, and will stay again when we come back to NH this summer for Storyland"

"We traveled up to Carroll for a few relaxing days with our children (age 9 & 7). There was a lot of snow, which made it magical for our children! The morning after the snow storm the driveway was plowed and cleared for us before we even started to get ready for the day! Amazing! We visited Santa’s Village which was a short drive from the house. Everything was fabulous! We also did some local shopping in Littleton! The house was immaculate & also fully stocked with anything we needed! The welcome packet was filled with so much information & answered any questions we had! Also, Brenda & Jay were very communicative! We look forward to coming back to rent again! "

"Beautiful views. Very clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent massage by Cassandra at the spa. Learned a lot from Jessica, the farmer, at the barn. MVG would be a great place for a knitting or weaving workshop and to learn more about the wool, etc. Might be nice to have their yarn in the gift shop. By magic ( or hard working staff who came in at 3:30-4:00 am) Christmas decorations were all in place the day after Thanksgiving (when we had a delicious buffet).Also meals at the restaurant were very good and my partner said he had the best pizza he’d ever eaten. My only complaint was that our room was rather small with only one chair (2 of us) compared to our friends who by luck had a corner room which was larger ( same price). Other than that it was a very enjoyable stay. "

"Beautiful Mountain View’s, cabin was perfect. No TV was great. Home owner was in touch when necessary for solar and any other questions. We had snow while there and driveway was taken care of. Highly recommend this place. "

"Kathy at the front desk for check in was fantastic. Room was clean, spacious. Bathroom had a smallish hole in the ceiling above the shower head which seemed to have some mold around it. Reported it the next morning to the front desk clerk who didn't seem to care. Beds were firm. Breakfast was minimal, but as expected. "
