It is old Japane resort style hotel ,manager 櫻井can speak good English but other stuff .
They're charge 200¥for hot spring which are reasonable.I would say is good value for stay with hot spring.
Large room with nice mountain view! Dinner and break were plentiful, nice choices, many options/selections, all-you-can-eat, all-you-can-drink, and tasteful. Great location!
Nice water pressure! Clean toilet! There are many black spots on the bathroom tiles on the bathroom door. The room carpet is old. Tatami room is big and clean.
needed to have a relaxing trip and onsen is definitely a good choice. this hotel gave us a quiet, relaxing and comfortable stay, both dinner and breakfast were good and room was big and spacious. i cannot say better rather than you feel it yourself.
only draw back is no wifi in room, only available at the lobby area.
This hotel was likely amazing a few decades ago. Its known for its public baths and has a great location at the base of the mountains. But its age really shows now. The ventillation in my room was very poor. It was constantly humid, which lead to mold growth in the bathroom, especially in the shower curtain. All of the fixtures are dated. The staff was friendly. The other guests tend to be very loud and they can be heard in the hallways while in the room.

Cheapest onsen hotel in Ikaho
Cheap and nasty onsen hotel. You get what yox pay for. Rooms need total make over. Buffets were very low standard.
Hot springs were good but have to share with day trippers.
It was my first trip to Japan, I was able to experience the great service offered. All the expandable items will be replenished on the next day and I even received a call to review whether i was satisfied with the room cleaning.
