When I visit Madison I usually stay near the capitol, but that wasn’t available. This location is a bit further but a winner - parking was free and easy, bike share (b-cycle) dock on property, right on bike/foot path to Lake Monona and downtown. Great for morning walks and getting back and forth. Staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Rooms have a strange layout with closet in bathroom- but a minor issue

Short but sweet family visit
The check in was easy and quick. The staff greeted us as soon as we entered the lobby and it was so clean. The food was amazing and the bartender (Will) was especially attentive and made sure that we knew our way around. The adult beverages were very tasty and completed our evenings. The location was perfect for meeting with family and close to the highway. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back.
