Arrived at 20:00 and the reception ordered us dinner, despite kitchen closing. That was good.
Checked into damp smelling room, stained floor and walls, shower too small to turn around without getting stuck to curtain. Noted the slow-dripping ceiling just outside the door after dinner, and immediately informed the reception, who noted our desire to move rooms (while saying everything was booked that and following night), but did not check (said they would put a can down to catch water) nor inform the management (as evidenced next morning).
Informed the adult management in the morning of the leak, who asked if we would still like to change rooms. Much better room with airflow through windows and clean updated bathroom. Walls still scarred and stained, but otherwise ok room.
So, wrap up: rooms subpar for price and facility needing piping repair; young employees friendly, but hurried to depart; manager good and receptive.
$200 per night is too much—-look for $125, and avoid rooms 101-108.
