The Cranach hostel is located in the former home of the painter family Cranach, in the middle of the old town Wittenberg. The guest rooms are equipped with modern furniture in a simple design, made in a local carpentry workshop. Colored lamps and antique furniture give each room its very own accent. TV sets are not available. The large house with its spacious corridors invites its guests to stroll and discover. Many details tell of the different design and use of the house over the centuries. Due to the historical structure, the hostel does not offer an elevator and, as in Cranach's time, it is best to explore on foot on foot.
