Casa Edda, the perfect combination: a modern architect's house in an intact village in the beautiful Val Lumnezia - Valley of Light.
There are numerous possibilities for activities and experiences in nature as well as various historical and cultural offers.
In winter, when snow conditions are good, you can ski right to the house. To get to the slopes, you can take the free ski bus that runs every hour (a 5-minute walk from the house) to Vella.
Other winter activities include hiking, tobogganing, snowshoeing, ski tours, enjoying the sun, snow, pristine air, etc.
In the other seasons, the area offers wonderful opportunities for walks, hikes, swimming in the river or small lake, and Mountain bike tours. The annual mountain bike marathon takes place in August with the start and finishing in Lumbrein.
2 restaurants with local specialties, a village shop, and a small museum are within walking distance.
In the small village shop, you will find all kinds of things for your daily needs, such as fresh bread. The local organic cheese dairy offers fresh milk, cream, butter, various kinds of cheese, and an excellent fondue mixture. Spread throughout the valley, innovative farmers offer their products (meat, fish, jams, honey) in various locations and their own farm shops.
For your big grocery shopping and other needs, it is best to go to Ilanz.
