The Graig is an absolute gem. It's in a very peaceful location - the building is far enough from the road that I couldn't hear any traffic noise from the room (not that the road is particularly busy) - and has a beautifully landscaped garden that's ideal for sitting out in with a pot of tea. The cooked breakfast was delicious, as were the sandwiches in the packed lunches which they will prepare for a small fee, clearly made with care. The attention to detail is what really makes this place: there's a fridge full of real fresh milk in the breakfast room so you can take a jug for making hot drinks with, because who really wants those plastic tubs of UHT? There's fresh fruit and a seemingly endless supply of home made cake, proper ground coffee in the cafetiere, fancy body wash in the shower, comfortable mattresses which don't feel old and tired - no part of the experience felt cheap or skimped on.

Best B&B
Lovely family run B&B in beautiful surroundings. Very comfortable rooms and the use of a guests lounge if required. Nothing was too much trouble and little extras like tea, biscuits and freshly made cake in the afternoons were an unexpected bonus. Would highly recommend.

The best
The best guest house i have stayed at, family owners frendly, helpfull and offer at service that makes a mockery of top hotels i have stayed at. Homemade cake and cookies in the room, mince pies on arrival. At the end of the weekend we were sent on our way with homemade jam, wow!

Two night stay, brilliant room ( No1) , lovely sunrises in morning from one of the window's overlooking the lovely landscaped front garden.Nicely decorated everywhere, lots of extra's. Very tasty ( cooked) breakfast, but also good choice of other options aswell. Nice reception upon arrival with coffee and cake prepared..More cake and cookies with coffee and tea's in room aswell. Amazing place. Fabulous hosts
A wonderful stay. Just a little way out of the town of Ludlow so it was peaceful with stunning views. The hosts were very friendly and you didn't feel that you were intruding although it was also their home too. Gorgeous gardens with chickens pottering around. So cute to be greeted by a friendly 10 week old chick too! Would be an amazing place for any budding photographers - stunning garden and views. And what can I say about breakfast??? We usually have to apologise for being vegetarian - here we were almost celebrated!!! What a breath of fresh air. A WHOLE veggie breakfast menu. Plus the buffet of cereals and fruit and toast. So many local and homemade items. FANTASTIC. The only thing we were disappointed with... we couldn't stay longer as they were fully booked!

A wonderful overnight stay - quality accommodation
Overall, near perfect. This was an overnight autumn break with the husband so we could have 24 hours to unwind. We are both in our 50s.I am known as being fussy but simply like to stay in clean and high standard accommodation when I go away, otherwise I don't enjoy it. Therefore, I always do my research and read the reviews carefully. The excellent reviews, all 5 star to date and accurate, helped me select The Graig for us and we were not disappointed in any way. The Graig is a spacious family house in a quiet setting about 5 miles out of Ludlow, with a stunning garden and view of the countryside. There are 3 purpose-built b&b rooms in a separare annexe next to the house. Our beautifully decorated bedroom was immaculately clean with pristine bedding, comfy bed, and a superb power shower wet room. Katy and family were our hosts, welcoming us on arrival with coffee/tea and cake. Katy was very helpful in giving us advice on what to do around Ludlow and where to consider eating out. After visiting Stokesay Castle and Ludlow we slept well in our very comfortable bedroom. The following morning we were then treated, along with other guests staying there, to quite possibly the best breakfast we have ever had, absolutely delicious. Little extra touches such as quality soap in the en suite, lavender sprugs on pillows and refreshments enhanced the whole experience. Thank you to The Graig for such an enjoyable stay:keep doing what you are doing, you are doing it so well!
