Pool experience
Not so good of a stay this time. My spouse needs water therapy for strength and balance so, we booked here because of the indoor pool. On arrival we found out the pool is out of order and receptionist was rude when I asked when it would be working. Very disappointed!!

Definitely would stay again. Pool was not working and this was a big reason we booked here for the kids but other than that, it was a great stay. Breakfast was amazing and very clean.

Our stay was very good. The only negative was the lukewarm shower after a long day of driving. We had the shower turned to the hottest setting and it wasn't enough to even steam up the bathroom. That was our only disappointment. The staff were friendly, room was clean, and I slept better than in most hotels.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in Lubbock. It was quiet and we were able to get a good nights sleep. We especially enjoyed the breakfast our last morning there. It was fresh and well prepared. We will definitely stay there again the next time in Lubbock!

Save Your Money, and a Headache!
I was staying at the Holiday Inn South Lubbock to attend my Grandsons football tournament. When arriving at the hotel I was greeted by a less than enthusiastic customer service representative who, when I asked him to smile, answered "I only smile when I feel it's necessary". Whie I feel it's not part of their job to make me feel welcomed when arriving, they could make me feel like they give a crap about my stay, because it really foreshadowed the rest of the stay. Since I was coming to see my grandchildren I was hoping to be able to let them come over to play in the pool, however the indoor pool and spa where out of service. My room had issues as well. The toiletries were all empty, the toilet paper was empty, the room wasn't very clean and the hot water was, well...Warm. Since there was a College football game in town other hotel rooms in town were hard to come by and since i had already booked this room and checked in I wasn't sure if I would be able to re-book another room and get my money back for this one. The continental breakfast included with the room was ok, but not great. Coffee was good though. All in all....NEVER STAYING HERE AGAIN!!
