The Check in clerk was rude and acted like it was a lot off trouble to check me in. They only gave us one wash cloth and one hand towel. The air conditioner blew hot air. We have stayed here several times in years past. This time it had gone down hill.

Although my room was clean meaning the floor and bathroom area... The bedding I have seen homeless people carry around looks cleaner. And in better condition. A pressure wash on the sidewalks and entry area would help but the bedding is disgusting.

A Well Managed Property
Asked for a ground floor room, away from street noise and we got it! This is a superior property, with good customer service. We'll stay here rather than properties further down the 5. We've stopped staying at several Motel 6 properties (Carlsbad, Button Willow, Oceanside) because of bad treatment and maintenance issues. I always call to confirm a ground floor room, for we senior citizens, and when one of us gets there, they haven't honored the written or verbal request. Or their promise! And I get lies and inconsisten stories from staff. But, we'll book into this property again. Please take a lesson from the managers of this property and teach it to others.

Reserved room since I'm handicap I even confirmed with property management and they said not to worry that I would have a downstairs room and when I arrived for check in they gave my room to someone else. When finally got a room the Air Conditioner didn't not work mind u this is in summer time when temperatures are about 105 degrees. Lastly was expecting to go swimming and when arrived swimming pool was empty. So im never staying there again

The price was right. Basic room. No frills. We were just there to sleep and move on. Glad there was a refrigerator. Coffee only in lobby for the AM. Kind of scary with the people at night who were hanging around outside but turned out ok.

Booked 2 rooms, one had bedbugs second room had cockroaches. I arrived around midnight super tired ready to sleep and overall it made my night worser and stressful. Considering i had multiple young kids with me starting with a 2 week old baby
