The room was very clean but the mirror on the bathroom door looked dirty. Mind upu this is a very old ship so it could have been just pitted and stained. This hotel is very old and has been somewhat refurbshed which makes it unique.
We stayed before prior to a cruise which the cruise port is almost attached to this hotel makes it very convenient to stay here.
However, it seems there is always an event in tbe parking lot in front of the ship and they block the easy way to get to the ship and make you tote all your luggage 4 blocks

It was very nostalgic. I was in B305 and there was something that made a loud noise right above the room several times during the night stay.
What a magical experience! The rooms are a little rough around the edges but you are staying in a historic ship - it shouldn't look like a modern hotel room.
Very cool if you like the historic value of the ship, which we very much did. Didn't do any of the official tours, but just walking around exploring was worth the price. Took lots of pictures around the ship. Bed was comfy and room was nicely appointed. Dinner at the Promenade restaurant was good. The short ribs were outstanding. Restoration of the ship is in progress but a lot of work still needs to be done. We enjoyed our stay.
I wish paying guests had access to the different parts of the Queen Mary that are only available if you pay extra to go on a haunted tour. With @$300 per night you wouldn’t think you’d have to pay extra to see the pool and exhibits.
I like that fact that we are lodging in a historical way. The Museum like atmosphere. Limited areas within the facility. And you have to cross the bridge to go into downtown. It felt classic. Though why get dressed up to pretend because it’s the Queen Mary.. The staff was nice and friendly. They felt like they really like the ship. It was overall wonderful time.
