Welcome to Malibu 5 Unit V. This masterfully curated complex, aptly named The Malibu 5, is home to a collection of rare and private beachfront units. Re-launched in April 2023 as a joint venture with Fieldtrip Hospitality, you'll find yourself consumed in style, views and unmatched hospitality.

A dream come true in Malibu. This immaculate beachfront unit is the embodiment of the Malibu lifestyle. Located on the upper level of the complex, you have the ocean lookout advantage from your private balcony seating area.

Take in the sweet smell of the waves as they waft through the sliding glass door and into your spacious and unique open concept living space. Featuring high speed internet and a SmartTV, you can stream your favorite shows and movies from the comfort of your plush sofa. Adjacent to the living room is the dining area for 4 with ocean views. The chef of the group will find everything they need in the adequately appointed kitchen, also featuring upgraded appliances and finishes. Down the hall from the kitchen, you'll find the custom full bath with a walk-in rainfall shower. Enjoy our offering of toiletries or bring along your favorites. Across the hall, fall into your elegant master suite with Smart TV. Fall into your plush sheets draped on your queen bed, while drifting to sleep along with the waves.

Be sure to take some time to explore the community deck, featuring fire pits, BBQ, outdoor lounge, outdoor dining, and ENDLESS views. This deck is accessible to all 5 units in the complex. The community deck is accessible 24/7, but quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10pm – 7am.

Great Beachfront Escape!
My husband and I stayed at The Malibu 5 to celebrate his Birthday and had the best experience imaginable. The apartment was uber clean with outstanding views and easy access down a flight of stairs to the beach. The beautiful modern apartment opened up to a very private deck with two sun loungers, a seating area plus a sun umbrella. All outdoor furniture was in great shape and worked properly. Also, the apartment comes with parking in front of the unit to make unloading a breeze. During our stay I had a question about how an appliance worked and the management company responded immediately with instructions, videos and even offered to send a person to show me how it worked! We loved our stay are already looking forward to booking again this fall.

Did Not Live Up To Expectations
This rental did not live up to expectations. As soon as we arrived there was visible mold in multiple areas of the bathroom - the shower was gross. The management company tried to say it was dirt - Uhmm dirt does not end up all over a bathroom and in the shower / ceiling. The management company asked to send a cleaner between 7-7:30 (we told them 7:45 would be okay) the cleaner showed up at 9:40PM. The problem still was not remedied. The bed is very low to the ground and extremely loud with the slightest bit of movement. Overall the unit shows quite a bit of wear with stuff marks all over the walls, baseboard etc. (a little touch up paint once in a while goes a long way) Common area was wet and covered in sand. Convenient location in Malibu, but note that if you are sensitive to noise, this is located directly on PCH. We made the most of our weekend in Malibu but we would definitely not stay in this rental again.
