The hotel was really nice, ambiance is great. Food at the Frontyard was awful. When the receptionist told us that we should get a reservation because it’s always packed we got excited, then we tried it, it was actually gross. Even their breakfast the bacon was rock hard, the egg was uncooked. I would recommend the hotel but not the dining and bar. Oh yeah the bar, we asked for a shot of tequila to start, didnt get it then a long island iced tea and a capri sun. We started drinking and our drink was way tooo strong well when we asked the server she said the tequila is in our drinks? Like since when do you put a shot of tequila in your drink? Thats why its called a shot. She ended up giving us cookies and only charged us 1 tequila shot instead of 2. Not a really good experience

The Garland is an oasis of a property waiting to be visited! Recently visited and enjoyed every moment of my stay. The Front Yard restaurant on property is amazing and a great added bonus to this hotel (ate dinner and breakfast). We were lucky to also visit the Tangerine room during their taco Tuesday special as well. If you are visiting Universal Studios (which is a quick drive away) the hotel offers a quick and convenient trolley free of charge to the park. It is a great choice of hotel if visiting the parks and a nice touch to stay at a smaller less busy hotel after a busy park day. Everything about this hotel is themed well and has adorable touches that tie into the overall theme. I wish I got to experience more of their offerings as everyday they offer something new. Visited in August and there are a lot of areas to sit outside and enjoy the summer weather. The pool area is nice and also connected to a bar section but it was very crowded (expected during the summer but wanted to note as it is hard to get chairs by the pool). The hotel does show “dive in” movies in the pool area which is a fun touch as well. The rooms are large and spacious. I can’t wait to visit again soon and experience more of what The Garland offers!

From the time we stepped out of the Uber, the staff was taking care of us with a smile. We were able to check right into our room early. It was comfortable and clean. The restaurant on site was excellent and so convenient for our short trip. Should we find ourselves back in Hollywood, we'd stay again.

It is an amazing place with great staff! The food is equally amazing the pool has a great vibe during the day and play cool movies at night! Lots of parking and the shop they have on site is super cute the only thing I can speak negatively on is the mosquitoes lol they are everywhere but just take some repellent and you be fine! It was a great family oriented hotel. Very clean and updated. The pool, patio and restaurant very good. We liked the movie at the pool while kids were watching a movie and adults could have a cocktail at the patio bar. Cozy, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff outstanding, helpful and always with a smile. We will be back again.
