The hotel was the perfect stay for my little solo staycation. All staff were very helpful and polite but my favorite was Grace, the bartender. She was wonderful to speak with, friendly and even some locals came in both nights i was there saying how great she was. I don’t usually write reviews but this was definitely worth my time. Arthur at the front desk was an angel. We got there at 1230pm, check in wasn't until 4pm. After a 2 hour drive, my 74 yr old Diabetic husband was feeling poorly& I had an appt that I couldn't bring him to. He really needed to lay down. I asked Arthur how early we could check in. He said there was a $50 early check in fee, but if we waited until 2pm, no fee. He then called housekeeping & they said our room was ready, and he waived the fee, plus he gave me their famous, warm DT cookies! Customer service, with empathy, what a blessing!
