We were pleased with how the staff greeted us and helped us put our baggage into our room while we were sightseeing in Hollywood. I am disabled and I very much appreciated their kindness and attention to making our stay comfortable. We have stayed in some "name brand" hotels that could learn a thing or two about keeping people comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Though very much a budget Motel we felt it was excellent value for money.The hotel is only a short (15min) drive away from Universal Studios. Our room was large with two queen beds. The room seemed slightly dated but the beds themselves were up-to-date, good quality and we had a good night's sleep. Service was very friendly. We arrived after 9pm and were greeted by a very friendly Ely who helped us orient ourselves with the local area and options available to us. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast which included a selection of cereals, breads and bagels, soft cheese, sweets baked goods, breakfast sandwiches which could be heated in the microwave, fruit, teas, coffee and a bunch juices.

After reading all the positive reviews, I was expecting something different than this hotel. It’s more of a “motel”, like we used to stay in as kids when we traveled. All of the rooms opened onto the parking lot, and were two stories high. Stairs led to the upper units (there is apparently some type of elevator if you ask at the office). The rooms were older, but well kept, and seemed to be clean. Typical breakfast in the office/lobby—cereal, muffins, toast, fruit, juice and coffee. The staff we had contact with were very nice. Location is near Burbank Airport and Disneyland. I think you just need to have a mindset of a motel rather than a hotel, and it’s OK.
