When we were leaving we got in the elevator and were stuck for a little bit. I went back into the office and they told me it was inoperatable. Someone should have put signs on the elevator. I was told to go use the stairs. Didn't find that right away either. There was 2 doors there and the first one was locked. I tried the 2nd and it was the stairs. Again Signs should have been there also. The rooms themselfs were very nice and clean. That was the only good thing.

The hotel was going through renovations and they gave us the room next to the room with construction banging at 7 am. They served grab and go breakfast which was an apple and water bottle in a paper bag. There was no cleaning during our 3 night stay at all, so no towel or toiletries. They removed all toiletries from the walls and gave just one small soap and 10 ml shampoo. The area is isn’t pleasant either as it is surrounded with car rental shops and doesn’t have any appealing city views. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone and there are other better ones in the area a little further down the road.

1. The room that was assigned to us was room 626. There was painters tape all over the washroom ceiling and visible water damage. 2. The room smelt moist after a flood, smelt like mold. 3. There have been three to four massive industrial fans in hallways. Super loud throughout the day and night. 4. Staff were rude and not accommodating. 5. I paid for a room and a buffet breakfast. There was no buffet and I was informed that we will receive one brown bag of breakfast which only contained a single muffin and a single apple sauce. Some days there was not breakfast due to staff shortage and suggested we go to MacDonald's next door. No compensation was given for this. 6. There was a door inside of the room that led to another room. We could hear the other occupants talk clearly with no sense of privacy. 7. We could hear jackhammers drilling loudly. 8. There was no access to the gym or pool. Which is extremely important to our lifestyle in health. There were no close by fitness gyms. 9. Hidden fee was not disclosed to us until I checked my bank and was informed that there was a $11 UDS per day charge. 10. The area where the hotel was filled with homeless people who would yell at us while passing by. We were fearful for our safety as well.

Stay here if you want no sleep and a migraine
A day before my reservation I received an email that the hotel was under construction and therefore the kitchen was closed and breakfast would be a grab and go type of thing. Which is fine I suppose, if they had told me within my cancellation window though, I would’ve cancelled for sure. Very strategic of them to wait that long to update me. What they conveniently failed to mention was that the room would be super loud and rattling ALL DAY from the construction, and that the gym and pool were also closed. It was a TERRIBLE stay. I was only there one night and I’m glad because by 9am I had a migraine from all the noise. They are misleading potential guests by failing to mention that all their main amenities are unavailable. Do not stay here if you want to be comfortable.

The hotel is NOT as advertised. There is major construction going on which was not communicated. There is NO : free breakfast buffet, only a brown paper bag with a tiny bottle of water, apple and small kids container of apple juice. There is NO : pool in the hotel property. We were travelling with our 4yr old daughter. Our room reeked of smoke despite it being a so called smoke free room. Air conditioner was intermittent. And room phone did not work (supposedly a technical issue). We were woken up at 7:30am with banging/hammering noises on our walls. This may have been a decent hotel pre-contruction, but definitely not now. The Expedia posting for this hotel needs to be updated asap so others don’t experience this.

I was expecting a nice peaceful and enjoyable stay. As soon as I arrive there all the amenities were under construction. This wasn’t explained to until after my booking was submitted and even what I received the email stating that there would be some things unavailable due to reno’s; it still wasn’t specified. They placed me on the 9th floor, and I was woken up to banging, drilling, etc going on right on top of my room on the 10th floor. The staff there is kind and helpful, I was just disappointed in the actual condition of the hotel due to the renovations.

Was very disappointed there was ants in the room the ac was broken it would not turn off. The hotel was u dear construction so most of the hotel was inaccessible. I’m sad that I had such a terrible experience. We should not have been charged 45 bucks a night just to park when there is construction going on the elevators don’t work properly. The guy in the mornings that is supposed to open the exit level takes forever one day i sat for about ten minutes before I got out the car to go into the room to ask why the lever is not working I was told just to keep pressing it. SMH. La Quinta In. Is usually a beautiful hotel with exceptional customer service, unfortunately this was not.

I like that the room is clean. They are under construction so the breakfast is grab and go. But its the same everyday. They even run out of breakfast. its already an inconvenience for the customer thats they are doing construction, the least they can do is to make sure that other amenities is going right. When we talk to the manager he said that the breakfast will be better the next morning he lied. They only have apple and apple juice for breakfast the next day. I dont think the manager care at all.

The property is under renovation. So, no breakfast, no swimming pool, the Wi-Fi was a major issue, and still got charge $45 per night for parking, they could at least offer that, but they did not!
