Stayed at the Holiday Inn LAX Airport for Dreamstate, and honestly, the experience was smooth from the jump. We rolled in early hoping for a room, and the front desk came through clutch. They let us check in at 12, and by 12:30 a room was ready. Big shoutout to the receptionist for making it happen and extra props to housekeeping for the quick turnaround. 🙌
The Pros:
I booked the King Standard Accessible room with the roll-in shower — super convenient, clean, and easy to use after being on my feet all festival long.
Surprisingly quiet for an airport hotel. I didn’t hear any planes at all — just normal LA traffic, nothing crazy.
Area felt safe, convenient, and easy for what we needed.
The bed felt stiff at first, but man… I still knocked out. Maybe it was the rave energy, maybe the bed was actually not that bad — either way, slept great. 😅
I’d definitely recommend this place to friends and family.
The Cons:
One thing I didn’t love: the room had a connecting door to the room next to us, and that door is not soundproof at all. You can hear people talking on the other side pretty clearly. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely something to note if you’re sensitive to noise.
Didn’t get to try the breakfast or the bar — Dreamstate had us running around too much — so can’t review those.
Overall, the stay was solid, convenient, and honestly perfect for an event weekend. Good service, clean room, quiet enough, and the early check-in alone made my day. Highly recommend it. 👌
