There was a bat (yes, these creatures that carry lots of diseases, often rabies positive if not other weird viruses) in our bedroom suite that started flying all over the room 10 min after we turned off the lights. We killed it smashing it with a pillow and went to the front desk with the dead bat in a plastic bag and received weak apologies from the staff. We had to change room, and it was late, everyone was exhausted after a long trip. The minimum curtesy would have been to offer a compensation but no.
