When we arrived, there was no hot water as the boiler was broken and being fixed. The photos of the property did not match up with what was actually provided. There was grime at the corners in the closet and the shower floor was stained. Multiple stains in the curtains. Also, this was advertised as a hotel when in fact it's a motel. All unit doors face the parking lot. Paid for two nights and only stayed for one.

Terrible! The first night we didn't have hot water (which would be fine if they have at least warned us), the tv was blurry, the rooms smelled terrible (had to wash everything when we got home), despite no smoking signs, people were smoking all over the place, shower handle (to turn off and on) was falling off the wall and din't work right, lights didn't work right or at all, bed was terrible with a dip ion the middle, pillows were these weird lumpy things that felt like they rolled up some sheets or towels and shoved them in pillow cases

The staff at Freeport Inn were very helpful, however the pillows truly feel as if they are filled with old socks and when the restaurant onsite is open, there is very loud music until 10pm. Overall cleanliness was average and house keeping was unpredictable if they would come and what they would do. It was fine for our purpose and price point, but wouldn't stay again.

Total bait and switch. The good reviews must be completely fake. This place is filthy, full of mold and cockroaches. We left early and went somewhere else to stay. Avoid this place at all costs.

It is too bad photos can not be attached. This place was DISGUSTING! The floor was filthy. I took a washcloth and wiped a mere 6 inches of the floor and the cloth was brown. The light fixtures weee covered in rust. The toilet was angled towards the wall. The pillows had been washed so many times that the stuffing was matted and lumpy. The mattresses - 1 was so old and flat that it was unusable and the other was incredibly old, lumpy and uneven. There was a large spool of wire hanging above the door. There was hair all over the place - on the bed, on the towels and on the floor. The room reeked of marijuana. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. One of the shower doors was stuck. One of the rooms was open ame there were stacks and stacks of shoe boxes. Not sure what’s going on with that. It appears there are permanent residents and many don’t seem to be of the highest quality, iAnd the kicker….the hot water tanks (both!) failed and there was no hot water for over 24 hours. Again, I wish I was able to post photos. I am an athlete and I travel a lot. This was, by far, the most disgusting place I have ever seen. The positive reviews must be fake.

Overall, I had a fair experience with this property. Location was convenient for my work travel, and I was able to find it easily. The property and room were clean, if a bit dated. Room was clean, but significantly dated and had several items that were in need of replacement like cracked power outlets, dresser drawers that would not close all the way, and a lot of items in the room like the metal pins on the clothes hangers and the ironing board and the iron were covered in rust. I’m not sure if this was due to the proximity to the water and salt in the air, but there was a lot of corrosion. There were two nights that the hot water did not work and the toilet was prone to clogging if you use too much paper. Wi-Fi signal connection was also a challenge and being able to even connect to check. Email was a problem. Front desk staff were friendly, but did not seem to have much enthusiasm for their work. I definitely enjoyed the Mexican restaurant that was adjacent to the building, their food was very good, and I liked the layout and decor of the building. I was able to do a lot of walking at night and the area in Freeport is safe and accessible, with no major worries about traffic or crime. I would probably stay here again if my work required, but I was probably look for a different property first before choosing this one.

I was not expecting a 5star hotel by any stretch of imagination.This was a two story building with no elevators or ramps which made it very hard to go up stairs with bunch of bags. The curtains in the room were not large enough to cover the entire window. I could not get the room dark enough as the bright lights from out side kept the room well lit at night making sleep hard. The third night I stayed there there was no hot water. I could not take a hot shower to go to work. Cold shower was the only option. Staff was nice and friendly. All I got was an apology for lack of hot water. Do not recommend.

Guy on-site was a kid 1st room no ac working at all and tried ti fixit by turning off and on then gave us a room with a club right outside with music blasting. Really Bad Had to find new room that night out of where we needed to stay Really BAD and inconvenient

The stay was a quick 1 night stay, I would not do more than that. unless it was an extreme emergency. The pictures are deceiving. The furniture in the room is old and warn (accept the metal bed frame) the door had a gap around it not to secure 9 definitely not good for the winter). The front desk staff member was very pleasant, and the view from our room was nice, bed linen bright white and clean, refrigerator in the room seemed new. However PLEASE replace/upgrade: All furniture in the room, bedside night light,curtains,pillows, toilet bowl (especially in the room we stayed in) buy a larger microwave for the lobby immediately! or get individual ones for the rooms.

I stayed here for 1 evening while traveling out of town. The property itself was cute, and seemed fine. The bathroom inside of the room was modern and clean. The lobby area smelled of smoke (possibly from people smoking outside and too close to the front doors.) when I arrived to my room, both of the queen bed spreads were not very white. They had tiny stains on them, and one of them had a cigarette burn through it, creating a hole. I didn’t bother to report this until the morning, as I was exhausted and just needed to sleep. I did let the front desk attendant know of the cigarette burn, and it did not seem to be a big deal to them. Other than that, the stay was fine, and the room was quiet.
