Overall, I had a fair experience with this property. Location was convenient for my work travel, and I was able to find it easily. The property and room were clean, if a bit dated.
Room was clean, but significantly dated and had several items that were in need of replacement like cracked power outlets, dresser drawers that would not close all the way, and a lot of items in the room like the metal pins on the clothes hangers and the ironing board and the iron were covered in rust. I’m not sure if this was due to the proximity to the water and salt in the air, but there was a lot of corrosion. There were two nights that the hot water did not work and the toilet was prone to clogging if you use too much paper.
Wi-Fi signal connection was also a challenge and being able to even connect to check. Email was a problem.
Front desk staff were friendly, but did not seem to have much enthusiasm for their work.
I definitely enjoyed the Mexican restaurant that was adjacent to the building, their food was very good, and I liked the layout and decor of the building.
I was able to do a lot of walking at night and the area in Freeport is safe and accessible, with no major worries about traffic or crime.
I would probably stay here again if my work required, but I was probably look for a different property first before choosing this one.
