Exceptional service from start to finish
Most attentive staff i have ever experienced. Met at check-in by Gerry who brought our bags up to our room. Met him several times during our 3 day stay always very happy and helpful.
Beautiful hotel and surroundings. Will be back.
This hotel does not really care about its guests, despite the pretence that it does. On the last night of our stay the hotel had a function of its own in the function room. It sold tickets for this. Many people were there. The noise in our room was unbelievable. Huge booming base. We could hear the singer too. It went on til 0045. No warning for us. No thinking “we have guests above that, we should move them so they are not disturbed . Or at least warn them about it so they are aware.” Very poor service. The irony is the hotel owner has reportedly been campaigning against noisy music events in the square at the front as they may disturb his hotel guests. Whilst at the same time enabling noisy music events of their own inside the hotel which disturb his hotel guests. We will never stay at that hotel again due to its lack of consideration for paying guests.
The hotel was lovely and the staff so attentive. Great to able to walk the short distance to the peace bridge and Derry. Did think the music was a bit loud in the bar (maybe I’m getting old!) but we just took our drinks and found some other comfy seats. Would definitely recommend.
Fabulous property, took great care in maintaining the history of the building with some lovely amenities. Booked one night and stayed an extra night. Meals and service in the restaurant and bar were excellent
