The kindest staff
Stayed here whilst celebrating my 30th in London. Staff were incredible, so lovely and accommodating and wanted to make my birthday special. The room was a bit small side and the shower water didn't drain well, but overall it was fine for one night.

Please be more hospitable to guests. The room was okay. Normally don’t leave lengthy reviews but I had to share this experience: On the second day someone knocks on the door (doesn’t announce themselves) by the time I open the person is gone. The person returns a second time, this time banging on the door (asked: “who is it?” No response.) I open the door and turns out it was one of the staff. There was a leak downstairs coming from the shower in our room. No explanation of the situation or how long the plumber would need to fix it. We were in the room while the plumber was fixing the shower (20mins). No staff after to explain what the cause was (just the initial banging on the door). The staff was rather cold and indifferent after. All the best to the city London hotel. Cheers.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are great, really friendly and helpful. The complimentary continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise and the complimentary water, fruit, biscuits and ice were most welcome

This property is very easy to get to from the bus and easy to get around London from. Our room was very clean and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning is simple, but will get you to lunch. We would definitely stay here again!

I really liked this hotel! It is an older hotel, so if you go in expecting a modern experience, you will be disappointed; but if you understand that you may hear some doors slamming in the hallway occasionally, or some noise from other guests, it's a very nice place to stay. The other guests while I was there were quiet enough to not be a bother at all, but I could see it being an issue if other guests are less considerate. I booked this hotel last-minute after the place I originally booked fell through. I arrived less than an hour after I made the reservation online, and the gentleman at reception already had a printout of my information and was ready for me. He was very welcoming, and offered drinks and snacks. I also got free water bottles and fruit in my room, and breakfast was included! The room itself was on the smaller side, but perfectly adequate. I actually got upgraded from the single ensuite I had booked to a double ensuite, which was an unexpected perk! The only real complaints I had were that the small fridge in my room didn't work at all, and a couple of issues with the shower: the temperature was inconsistent, randomly getting uncomfortably hot and cold, and the drain didn't work well so I would be standing in an inch or so of water by the end of my shower. None of those things bothered me much, though. (I also never mentioned them, so they may have been easily resolved if I had asked for assistance.)
