Perfect for what we needed but …
The hotel was located in a pleasant area, we arrived around 6.30pm and was able to easily park in the hotel parking at the back of the hotel.
On arrival in reception, it looked clean, tidy and well presented. However there was no staff around at all. We rang the desk bell a couple of times and no one appeared. There was also no staff to be seen at the nearby bar despite people sitting in the area. Another family arrived shortly after to check in so I googled the hotel and called the number. The call was answered and a couple of minutes later someone came and checked us in. They were pleasant enough but perhaps slightly put out I had called to say we were waiting.
Our room was on the top floor (4th) over looking the street. Clean, tidy and pleasant enough. The bed was a standard double so significantly smaller than our super king at home. The windows were wide open with no safety bars so if I wanted to jump out the 4th floor window I could’ve easily !!! The room had no air con and was quite hot so we had to keep the windows open which of course meant we heard constant traffic noise throughout the night.
Overall it was ideally located for our purpose in a seemly nice well kept neighborhood. Clean and tidy and free parking. So yes I would stay again for the location behind our visit.
