Avoid - overpriced & very poor restaurant.
Tyler on reception was great and our experience started really well however the restaurant is terrible. Didn't prioritise us as guests and couldn't fit us in to eat before our theatre trip at 5pm so then we came back to try at 10.30pm to be told it was room service only. The room service menu after 10.30pm is limited to about 6 things which we ordered for the us and the children.
We were told we then couldn't order until 11pm so we waited 25 minutes, ordered and then waited over an hour until 00.10 for the most disgusting food I've ever seen to arrive. It wasn't just cold, it was all stone cold. Waited another 25 minutes for a manager to call which didn't happen so we didn't touch it and went to bed very hungry and fed up.
I would avoid, there are much much better hotels in London. Overpriced, tired and very poor service.
Fantastic location if catching the Eurostar. Also has heaps of food options close by.
I marked the hotel down slightly as there was a bit of mould in the shower and I couldn’t get the aircon to be cool enough. You could open the window though which is a bonus. Very helpful and attentive staff. Would not hesitate to stay again.
Very convenient to the train station and many restaurants and pubs to eat at nearby. Our room was bigger than expected and very clean. The only downside was one of the elevators was broken when we were there so we had to wait almost 10 minutes in the morning to get one. Otherwise our stay was great and would stay here again.
Accessibility for a manual wheelchair was above average. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very close to Euston and Kings Cross/St Pancras stations. Beds were very comfy.
Booked a room with a fold-out couch bed and was told at check-in that this would not accommodate our teenager, so we had to book a second room. We did receive a discount and deluxe adjoining room, but it would have been better to clarify this when the reservation was
made.
We had an excellent stay. The heating in our original room wasn't working and the hotel moved us to a new room immediately we reported the fault. The staff were excellent as were the breakfasts. We would absolutely recommend this hotel which is next to the British Library and close to central London and we will definately stay there again.
Good location walkable to the rail stations. Hotel rooms seem larger than average for London but still not spacious. Has beds that are UK King size (more like US queen), and super comfortable. AC was a bit weak. No bathtub but shower with good water pressure. Overall quiet. Was in 903. Nice staff and there were at least 3 elevators
